what does that have to do with hamas disarming and giving up power? if hamas still has guns and rockets, they’re not actually giving up power.

Absolutely nothing lmao. Every single post by Victor is dishonest in some way.

Sounds like it’s about time for Hamas to surrender the hostages and their arms.

Hey did you know the most advanced army in the world(your words not mine) takes out cameras with bombs? Is that some new technological advancement we don't know about?

Are you some sort of military expert? Want to give a rundown on what the most effective method would have been?

The resistance by any means crowd isn’t ready for what that entails.

I don’t think I’ve ever called them the most advanced army in the world, that would be the US. But as far as intelligence, tactics and experience waging war against terrorist groups in the ME, I’d assume Israel is up there with the US if not slightly ahead.

And if they don't you're prepared to excuse any and all atrocities committed against children/reporters/healthcare workers? Correct me if I'm wrong here.

“Resistance by any means”. Since Hamas doesn’t have the capability to engage the IDF in conventional warfare, instead of surrendering they are going to use the civilian population as shields for their army.

I’m not really excusing anything. War is ****ed up and the Israelis are especially good at it. I’ve repeatedly expressed that October 7th was not a great victory, but instead a grave mistake.

no thats not how it works. they agreed to give up governance and civil administration of the Gaza strip and allow a PLO type organization to run Gaza. that means giving up power.

Hamas has no bargaining power left so they either do what Israel asks or it’s no deal. Pretty simple.

Imagine needing “military expertise” to determine that maybe in order to take out one single camera we don’t need to bomb a hospital twice and kill 20 people in the process.

It’s a bad faith question. Of course I’m not excusing all collateral damage.

except that’s exactly what you’re doing

It got the job done without risking any IDF soldiers. As someone with no military expertise, it sounds like they did what they had to do. Maybe you can explain why you think otherwise and what their course of action should have been.

Why is there even a Hamas camera on the hospital?

Is capitalizing and not capitalizing words supposed to do something? Yeah, when engaging an enemy who deliberately tries to maximize collateral damage, there will inevitably be collateral damage.

So they want to be part of a coalition government (presumably with the chance to regain total control once the state is established) without giving up any arms and you count this as ceding control of the gaza strip.

Again, it’s a completely bad faith position from a body that has zero leverage whatsoever and started this war with a le epic acts of resistance.

by Victor

lol at giving a **** if some IDF settler war criminal got hurt. that **** is funny and the more IDF genociders that get injured then the less rape and murder they can do. its objectively a positive thing.

Thank you for at least being honest that you enjoy watching people die. Then you get mad when I say you enjoy seeing dead children.

Right so to skip 10+ posts of us going back and forth, people like you are now fine with killing 20+ people to take out cameras. The excuse is no longer ''well yes we killed a ****ton of women and children but also actual terrorists'' instead it's ''We now kill women, children and journalists in order to destroy equipment like these extremely dangerous ''hamas'' security cameras''.

The allies killed 25k people in Dresden in 2 days during WWII. If Israel was truly indiscriminately bombing Gaza, there would be no Gaza.

Hamas started this and refuses to end it. At this point, I think the Israelis are justified to do what they need to while incurring the least amount of casualties. Once Hamas is done, maybe there can be peace.

Ooh god he went with the Dresden example. Imagine pretending you're educated and using Dresden as an example. Bet you heard about Dresden in an episode of that raging **** Piers Morgan.

90% of Gaza is ruins. There is no Gaza. Thanks for admitting the IDF is no where near as methodical as you pretend it is.

This was an argument 19 months ago. Not 22 months later.

I’ve ever listened to Piers Morgan in my life but go off. It’s not really an argument and this is real life not some video game.

no they arent going to be in the coalition government.

and they arent going to give up their weapons. we all know why you guys want them to disarm so badly. it would be about a month before Israel would slaughter everyone in the strip. wouldnt be surprised to see gas chambers just bc they could.

by checkraisdraw

huh? that guy survived. seems he had light injuries so he may be raping prisoners to death as we speak.

so if Hamas (terrorist group) is not going to disarm, what are we even talking about here?

and no, the news article you quoted said a coalition/shared governance model. That doesn’t mean Hamas will go away dumbass, it just means they will end their stranglehold on elections temporarily.

I agree Dresden is not an argument. Dresden is what clueless people bring up when they want to justify Israeli war-crimes.

22 months into the war it should be clear that anyone associated with or around Hamas is in danger.
