NCAA Football 2025
Not sure who will win this year, hopefully Arch goes nuts and UT can kick the door in after making the quarterfinals the
I forgot UCLAβs QB was super transfer Nico! 😂
Not sure why anyone but Goldenbears would have an opinion on this but I’m just gonna say it now: Sagapolutele is gonna be a #1 overall pick
Also maybe Colorado and/or SubPrime are completely irrelevant and that’s why he’s not being dragged, but come the **** on. This guy is not a legitimate coach
At least he has a sideline toilet
There’s that Mike Shula playcalling I remember
Grunch:
How overrated is Arch Manning?
Would anyone even be talking about him if his name was Jim Nooyandeh?
First of all thatβs a bad example because itβs such a great mockable name. Iβd probably go with βNudie-yeahβ but there might be something better if I think about it for a while.
But youβre right and itβs weird. As if being the 3rd stringer Y1 and still the backup last year to a ho-hum starter wasnβt enough, there was the frankly bad 1st start against Louisiana Monroe. Iβm sure he has skills and can develop, but this belief heβd be the second coming the moment he was declared QB1 is normally the sort of fever dream we only expect from ILP.
tOSUβs a pretty stiff opening test though. Next 3 games are home against weak G5 with a bye before @Florida and Oklahoma in some sort of fairgrounds. If heβs still a liability by then itβll probably be time for him to look at transferring to Vanderbilt or something.
Vanderbilt DOES need a running QB next yearβ¦

I'll admit I was wrong about Shea Patterson. You happy now. Geez. First time I was wrong in my sports life and I gotta take shade forever. The internet is a brutal place man.
The next denard Robinson. How'd he never win the Heisman.
Nyck Harbor is a mutant. Michigan recruited him to play defensive end. He's WR1 for South Carolina and he's probably the best receiver in the nation.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Denard Robinson. The fact that he couldn't throw forward passes meant we were never gonna beat any serious contender. It was fun beating Notre Dame tho. I was thinking Shea could be another Trace McSorley who I consider the best QB in Penn State history. Unfortunately it's not just about talent/measurables. McSorley was a pure winner. Shea was not.
Carson Beck could be anything from absolutely stellar to complete dog **** tonight and it wouldnt surprise me at all. Excited to see what we get.
Still think ND is drawing dead tho. This is not a game/atmosphere a rookie QB can handle. This is as close to a scheduled loss as you'll get in sports (excluding obvious big underdog situations).
Say what you will about Carson Beck, no one’s ever gonna tell him they’re gonna bust up that pretty face of his.
Ray Lewis is wearing a white shirt tonight. I mean blood's gonna stick out on that like a sore thumb.
I totally forgot Beck is at Miami now. I canβt keep up or remember all these transfers

I got no dog in this fight but any Miami choke job at home you told me about, Iβd believe it.
Feel like they don’t think Miami has anyone who can cover Faisson..

In a mild defense of him, he was excellent last year, passing and running. There's a chance he just got shook and overwhelmed by an awesome D. Such things happened to Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady. So we need to see a lot more.
He's tall, he's got good hair, good genes. I'd still bet on him to be a star, a super star. I remember an early game for Vince Young where he just got overwhelmed by a sick Oklahoma D, and shutout. Then by later that season and the next he became the GOAT college QB. It was weird that Manning's little dump offs even looked inept. Maybe he went Steve Sax on some of those plays. Saw it happen to Tom Brady (against Saban).
I wonder what's happened to his Heisman odds?
4/11 might seem like a strange career line for a Xfer kicker…but it’s even weirder that he was 2/3 from 50+
Arch is +1500 after he was +500 before the game
crystal balls is coaching though
what is the motivation for a team to sit their best available player at any position, let alone a qb
sure does seem like espn is trying to fabricate some sort of golden arches narriative similar to sanders last year
Sean McDonough is so good. National treaasure.
