What the hell, Cowbell???

Squandering a TO there?

A smokescreen?

Timeouts. Who needs them?

And an INT to close it out.

******* ************* Sun Devils

At least we're not Florida. Sigh. Life sux.

YES! Bama gets that coveted 73rd point!

Look at the big brain on that UNLV quarterback. The INT should stand just on principle.

I bet the 2-10 FSU team from last year would be better than this year's FSU team if you simply swapped Castellanos and the 2 coordinators for DJU and the 2 coordinators from last year.

Overall talent level I don't think is wildly different, but Castellanos is just a pure gamer, and FSU actually looks like they know what they're doing this year. I don't know how we got these coordinators, but I'll enjoy it for the probably 1 year when we have them both.

Oh, and it's impossible for FSU, Miami, and Florida to ever all be good at the same time.

FSU's seemingly back, Miami is good, so I guess it was Florida's turn to go down the shitter.

They still play #s 3, 4, 5, 7, 14, 19, 20, and 22. WTF.

This week was the first time in 20 years they were all ranked AP top-15, but that was short-lived.

Expectations a lot higher in Ann Arbor than in that ass conference imo.

Big 12 really sucks this year

Utah early favorite in the undefeated 4 seed to lose by 30 race.

Cam Skattebo ain’t running literally through that door.

ohyou.jpgNever change, ILP. Underwood had a very good debut, but come on, it was against ****ing New Mexico. Let's pump the brakes until at least he plays a P4 D. If he does anywhere as close to as well as last night against Oklahoma, then go ahead and do your hype man routine. As for your premise, no it isn't. This is a C+ offensive line and there is one WR and one gadget g

You were right. As you said, the offensive line isn't good and we're a year or two away. Goddammit.

I mean my take wasn't really that crazy tho. It rested on the idea that there are no great teams out there so we can have some flaws and still win it all. Problem is we're not even good let alone great.

This is an 8-4 team. Hopefully Ryan Day shits the bed again in Ann Arbor just for the hilarity. That's all that's left to hope for. Next year can't come fast enough.

I'll allow it.

How Napier hasn't been fired is beyond me.

As far as the playoffs, Florida and Michigan got eliminated today. There's no coming back from those loses. No words need to be said about the Florida debacle. Im sure theres fans out there that think Michigan still has a chance but i dont see it. The Michigan score was actually highly deceptive. We were very lucky to only lose by 11. Oklahoma kept shooting themselves in the foot. Our OL got manhandled the whole game except for one fluke play. That was pure domination. Ugh

Napier owed 20.4M if fired, 50% within 30 days.

i was told Bryce Underwood was the Second Coming

a can't miss prospect the likes of which cfb has never seen before

i was lied to

Sec goat except for Florida

South Florida maybe good?

Week 2 is over. What was it I was supposed to see? I must've missed it somehow.

Makes me cackle with joy that Bama fans think this is a DeBoer problem.

It will take Bama fans a minimum of two decades to accept that Bama's structural advantage has disappeared in the NIL world. It's the most delusional fan base in the world, no matter the sport, no matter the level.

Counterpoint: Notre Dame lost to NORTHERN ILLINOIS, AT HOME last year and made the playoffs. There is no longer any such thing as a 1 loss team being eliminated. It doesn't matter who you lose to.

But philosophically you are correct. Florida isn't going to make it through that gauntlet of a schedule with 3 losses max, losing an OOC game was never part of the equation. Less certain for Michigan, but it's also very unlikely that they make it through with 3 losses max. Just not good enough.

Oklahoma was very impressive. Venables knows what he's doing on D and he's got his system fully installed. Mateer was exactly what they needed to make a functional offense. Clean up the mistakes and they're a SEC title contender.

I'm working under the assumption that if you're in the B1G/SEC and you go 10-2 you're always in and if you go 8-4 or worse you're always out. And if you go precisely 9-3 your out 95% of the time. I think Florida should get in at 9-3 but with their tough schedule it's never happening. Michigan, with their relatively weak schedule will never get in going 9-3 and there's no way in hell this team is going 10-2/11-1. Yesterday was a total disaster for both programs. It's all about 2026 now.

It was a partial lie. I was off on the timing. Underwood is the Second Coming but not until 2026. Not until we get our offensive line fixed.

They've actually had an insane level of success, so I wouldn't necessarily call it delusional.

For me that crown probably goes to NC State basketball. A perennially mediocre team that thinks they should be elite every year.

Mark Stoops record as UK coach

2017 Kentucky 7–6 4–4 T–3rd (Eastern) L Music City
2018 Kentucky 10–3 5–3 T–2nd (Eastern) W Citrus 11 12
2019 Kentucky 8–5 3–5 T–4th (Eastern) W Belk
2020 Kentucky 5–6 4–6 4th (Eastern) W Gator
2021 Kentucky 10–3*[67] 5–3* 2nd (Eastern) W Citrus* 15 18
2022 Kentucky 7–6 3–5 T–4th (Eastern) L Music City
2023 Kentucky 7–6 3–5 T–4th (Eastern) L Gator
2024 Kentucky 4–8 1–7 15th
2025 Kentucky 1–1 0–1

Will take Stoops 18-21 as my coach as long as he wants. 2021 he got a divorce, and it just hasn't been the same. After Miss St beat Arizona St, UK is clearly back as the worst team in the conference.
