I'll go with whatever everyone wants, but keep in mind that even with the best clue, and the best research by the guesser..........can a cluegiver lead a guesser to the correct square ? No. We can in other games, but not this one.

I just think if I am going to be given a clue like Barney Dinosaur, and I have never even heard of him, I ought to be able to look at a picture of him on the net.

I'm ambivalent about this. There are valid reasons for research or for no research.

As I wrote that last sentence, I foresaw this game evolving to cluegivers giving incredibly obscure and specific clues, knowing the rest of us can look them up.

I vote no research.

On the other hand, for a clue like Barney the Dinosaur I have no problem with other guessers sharing the meaning of the clue.

I am fine with no research. It is Nich's game and he is first to pick so let's let Nich make the call on research for cue giver and guessers.

we should probably just say no research for guessers, but clue giver can research, like most pog games

if clue giver gives a shadowfax, then that's on them

as a guesser, you can always follow the crowd if you don't know something
