Cooking a Good Everything Else
Thought I'd take El D's advice and create another thread for cooking discussion, as steak is wonderful, but pork, meatba
Might get you in trouble if you take that to a WNBA game.
pasta looks great!
Wow
That sounds amazing! Pics of the final?
Didn’t take a picture. Used Andrew Zimmerman’s recipe. Only made the salad, but look forward to making the entire recipe next year.
I did serve it with Ike’s fish sauce wings. Elite.
Had to look up the fish sauce wings, and now I kinda need some. Mmmm.
And now I want pasta and watermelon. Damn, guys, you're killing me here.
Today I awarded this as my watermelon of the year. Cubed it up, and turned it into to a Vietnamese salad. Tons of herbs. Fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, Thai peppers, fried shallots, toasted coconut flakes, chopped peanuts. Enjoy this time of year everyone!
Oh man, I've been looking for one that ripe, according to this chart, its gonna be the sweetest:

true?

I zhuzhed it up by separating the egg whites and whipping into stiff peaks, then mixed the egg yolk and mayo on the side, folded the two together and then shaved a bit pf parmigiano reggiano plus a little scoop of caramelized onions after in came out of the MW, pretty damn good for about 3 minutes of effort
That looks like a fun technique in a pinch. I can’t imagine it beats a French style omelette (Pepin style).
Broccoli looks great. That's how I cook it.
If you arenβt sure what to make for dinner itβs Caprese sandwich season! This was delightful. Baguette, pesto (made in mortar & pestle), arugula, tomatoes, mozzarella, prosciutto, balsamic.
Am I the only one who reads or hears the word arugula and has to pronounce it out loud with the cadence of an old timey car horn?
AROOOOOOGULA AROOOOOOGULA
BTW Nice Sandwich
You are not the only one now...
looks great hans, and there isn’t jack wrong with that broccoli
I'm not an arugula fan myself, but that sandwich looks incredible.
Broccoli is tossed with oil, garlic, salt and pepper, and roasted in the air fryer at 390 for 4 minutes. Try it
hell yes it's chili season by george! need some fresh jalas on there to go with your pickled ones if that floats your boat.
I appreciate the no bowl wipe, this is a cooking thread not a Michelin star thread. I'm an unrepentant drunken/messy plate photographer.
