Is anyone playing the Progressive Bounty tournament this weekend? Curious of how it plays live.
My wife is gone this weekend and I may take a stab.

They will basically have a bounty stack comprised on $5 chips and when you eliminate someone half goes in your pocket and half gets added to your own progressive bounty.
The bounty component is only $40 out of $320 buy-in, so it should not seriously impact your play, just a fun little gimmick.
I am sure if it goes well, we will see true PKO's
Hmm, OK. So essentially a $320 tourney with 200k guaranteed with some small bounties.
The Hurricane may influence my decision to stay home anyway.
Anyone know how many tier credits you get from poker if any?
Getting close to Platinum for the year so wondering if playing poker will have any affect.
No more fall open? They are replacing it with the "big big buying" event. This is going to price out the recs like me who would play the sub $1k events every year.
is there an overlay on the million dollar guarantee?
BIG BIG series was a BIIIIIIIGGGGGGG MISTAKE. Take away all the free rooms and let the poker room go to **** and you see what happens. Everyone should avoid this place and come play at Parx instead.
Cash action is good. 5/10nl and 5/5 plo going every day during series. I think it was just the mixed games that missed the guarantee.

Can someone post # players in each events ?
I don’t think these high buy-in events will be a crowd favorite.
WSOP became so successful and huge event because it is offering from low buy-ins ($300) to High buy-ins(10k ) and in between .
Let’s wait and see if Borgata learned any lessons.
Fall Open’s schedule will be out by the end of the month.
“Borgata Fall Poker Open powered by BetMGM (November 3 – November 17)”
The numbers are all on Poker.org. They hit the guarantee in 4 of the 5 events so far, only missed in the 9-game mix.

The high buy in events aren’t meant to be a “crowd favorite” though in Borgatas defense. Most people aren’t going to play $5K+ buy in games that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t exist as part of the overall program
The $10k and the $5k events crushed the guarantee by more than 50%. Looks like the high rollers are coming out to play. It started out slow but the turn out is really good.
Borgata Fall Poker Open Schedule on twitter. Bar Poker Open back and a Mini Mixed game series on the schedule.
No Almighty though which is kind of disappointing, always played that one. First time missing in a series since covid I think?
I would trade one of the bounty tournaments for an Almighty back on schedule.
Almightys always fun yea thats disappointing
Kellie is saying on Twitter that the Opener has an almighty stack.
The $1200 playing down to 5% seems pretty crazy for the 5:15 pm flight.
Will try to head down on Friday for Day 1E of the opening tourney.
Let me know if anyone else is joining.
can anyone post the fall schedule here?
Anyone know the rake for 1/3 NL? Faq says $5 but hasn’t been updated in awhile sounds too low
