We (had him) fixed and fed a feral cat that started hanging around several years ago. It didn't take long for him to go from skin and bones to incredibly huge. He walked in a manner similar to amplify's pooch, so I named him Wobbles. From inside the house you could actually hear him walking along our wooden porch. A cat! LOL

It came back 25% Treeing Walker Coonhound, 25% Terrier, 25% Chihuahua, 12.5% Golden Retriever, 12.5% unknown. Nothing with a brindle coat.

My wife got our rescue miniature schnauzer mix's DNA tested without telling me for weeks because she knew I would laugh at her for doing it. When she eventually told me, her suspicions were confirmed. Tells you something about my own DNA.

50% mini schnauzer; 25% shih tzu; 12.5% American bulldog; 12.5% Jack Russell terrier.

Then the outfit lost credibility with me by giving his likely parentage. Rather than positing a pairing of a full mini schnauzer with a combo of the rest, they drew up some Rube Goldberg combination of one mini schnauzer mix with another mini schnauzer mix to yield the resulting percentages. It could have happened that way, but Occam's razor would have been bent all to hell.

Some years ago I was at a blackjack table somewhere in MS and a couple of good ol' boys sat down at the table. They were on their way home from some sort of show or competition of Catahoulas (I always only heard them referred to as Catahoula Hounds) in Arkansas IIRC. I forget how many they had with them, but they got to talking how much their best two or three were worth. Damn, them fellers were worth a pile of money!
