Trump won’t prosecute because federalism or whatever, and the pressure on the widder to publicly forgive and plea for clemency will be enormous. Almost certainly be a 20-life plea bargain to spare Charlie’s family (his kids of course will be adopted by their new dad) but even if he gets a harsh sentence, Cox will just commute it on his last day in office.

The accusations of Kirk being a racist are despicable and are based on 5 to 10 second soundbite. People misrepresented his arguments, taking him out of context. It’s lazy and it’s just partisan politics at it’s worst.
I did not agree with Kirk on everything but his killing was demonic. He actually said a lot of good common sense stuff. He probably was most critical of Islam as a religion. But he also argued in favor of Pakistani immigrants and said that ones who come here legally we’re getting screwed over by illegal immigrants. And frankly perhaps he would have started to turn around on Islam because of the fact that a lot of right wing non Muslims and Muslims agree on traditional values like being against abortion, being for strong parents, a good nuclear family.
There are so many people who are critical of the Catholic Church or organized religion, and they don’t get called bigots all the time.
Kirk did not die a racist and it is unfortunate How lots of people on the left and even now some people on the right with regards to pro Israel make up false accusations of racism. It’s like their needs to be definitive proof like somebody actually has to have it as their core belief that certain races are inferior to others. As criticizing DEI or cancel culture is not Racist It never will be. Saying that a politician is a DEI hire is not racist. That’s not how things work.
Kirk worked with Black people, he traveled the country for two years with Candace Owens. He surrounded himself with people of all different races. That is never something a racist would do.
Well the word racism is very easily tossed around by many people on the left and some people on the right. It’s insane something that never occurred even in the 1990s.
