It seems like there's a lot of conflict and unhappiness in the world these days. It gets me down. One of the few things
I'm kinda jealous now.
He's turning 11 this week and I am going away next weekend. I kind of don't want to leave him.
I can understand why!
What I can't understand is how there is any slack in that leash with those deer feeding right there. He's a well-behaved boy!
What you don't see is him pointing or his shaking legs.
He's demanding, but yes, he is a good dog.
I saw my German Shepherd's muscle twitch watching a squirrel in the yard this morning but it was near the road so I softly told her no and that was enough for her to just watch the squirrel.
I did not train this into her, she literally showed up at my house and started obeying me with military strictness.

Luna, the one on the left, can't find the result for her but it was about 13 different breeds. They don't have Black Mouth Cur as one of the breeds which is what I'm pretty sure she is.

Desi waits for you to shoot the deer (I don't hunt) and then will dislocate your shoulder if you wait too long... even at 11.
