THE GLORIOUS RESURRECTION OF CARSON WENTZ' NFL CAREER

also the glorious resurrection of Baids' NFL posting career?

Is this bad? This looks bad.

Average Fields passing chart.

Also Wentzlahhhhh being back? Oh baby. O'Connell will make him look ok and some team will take a flyer on him next year and he'll be spectacularly bad, can't wait.

And suzz... if Chefs fans think that Hurts isn't a legitimate QB, then why does your team have a tough time beating him?

Man you guys got worked up about one off-hand observation from the game Sunday.

That ball to Davonte Adams went 40 yards in the air and 28 yards downfield. He had two other balls like that that weren't completed. That's all.

In before:
- Niners, Texans, Jags too high
- Rams, Bengals, Vikings too low

Tough to power rank teams with what seems like a third of teams already onto their backup QB now. Though I actually don't think Mac is that much of a downgrade from Bork *ducks*.

Seahawks too high too.

Commanders too high IMO.

Packers not high enough.

You gotta give Lions the week 1 mulligan and have them above the Niners.. c'mon g-bebe

I'm sure this is a sick burn to whoever you think Davonte Adams plays for.

Sorry, you moved the Jags up after they lost to the backup?

Bills
Packers
Ravens
Eagles
Lions

Colts below the Texans huh

Ya'll excited for Wentz vs. Browning?

Panthers too high.

Colts below the Texans huh

Current favorites to win the division, yet 3rd in the pecking order.

With Regards to Hurts passing chart,

Chiefs played a lot of 1/0 and flex quarters in the game. For part of the game the blitzes were mostly run blitzes to tighten the edge and force the plays to the LBs. On those you'll notice corners playing off. Playing off and mimicking a deep trail technique is fairly standard for run blitz style of scheme. This changed late 2nd quarter and their strategy remained that way until the end of the game.

The change was tighter to the line, not quite press but that in-between. But this put the Chiefs DBs in bad places for pulling OL and they looked very sloppy engaging these OL in the open field. I did not see much underneath plays by the DBs or keeping the edge against the OL. I would imagine that coaching points for the week are working on the engagement on pulling OLs.

Overall the plan was very good. Couple of miscues and missed assignments was the difference in the game. That's games with aggression though. The mistakes when playing softer can be hidden some but the reward isn't as great.
