[ClubWPTGold] Unofficial Thread
time for a thread imo
Do you know when it would be effective? I tried to look but couldn't find that in the bill text.

TBH, as a regular player(3-4 days a week, 12 hour MTT sessions) I would be furious if my withdraw took too long cause they were paying out sweepstakes mail in whores that don’t give action on the site. If it’s “only” mail in never play sweeps people that have to wait the full 10 days for cashouts and not regular grinders as I give action I should only be forced to wait the
I never claimed only people who were sending in envelopes were being slow to be cashed out. But regardless it shouldn't matter, WPT gold is being weird with withdraws and that should worry everyone.
You do realize the only reason you're grinding on anything other than your boyfriend is because of the sweepstakes legal framework right? Global/Chumba made it work for a decade but now im going to have to talk to my friend who is the ex vice governor to get it banned in my state because WPT is screwing people that are following the law!
By the way Ive played 20k hands at 200NL some 400NL so ive payed plenty of rake, not that should even ****ing matter
Did a withdrawal Monday night and it hit yesterday. Cash outs have been fine for me.
Yo sweepstakes bum chill. They aren’t screwing people you’re just a leech. I’ve never had issues cashing out either. They are actually helping me expedite 5k a day since that’s the max in Florida.

**Re: Consumer Harm from Sweepstakes Gambling Companies Like WPT Gold, VGW (Chumba, Global Poker, LuckyLand), ClubsPoker, Stake and Others**
Dear \[Representative/Senator’s Name] and Attorney General \[Last Name],
I am writing to raise concerns about the growing consumer harm caused by foreign offshore sweepstakes gambling operators such as WPT Gold, VGW’s platforms (Chumba Casino, Global Poker, LuckyLand Slots), ClubsPoker, Stake and several others. These companies market themselves as “sweepstakes casinos,” claiming legality because they provide a “free” play option. In reality, they restrict or punish players who try to use that option and push consumers into spending money.
* **Banning Free-Play Users:** WPT Gold, VGW and others have banned accounts of players who attempt to send in postal requests called the alternate method of entry(AMOE)— the very safeguard that supposedly separates them from being illegal.
* **Withholding or Reducing Credits:** Sites have failed to issue required free credits(AMOE), delayed months or have cut them back significantly (for example, WPT Gold reducing its AMOE entries from five to two).
* **Arbitrary Account Closures:** Consumers report, even on the companies Facebook pages as well as on trust pilot, that accounts are being closed without explanation, often after using the no-purchase entry methods.
* **Forced Arbitration Clauses:** To make matters worse, these companies bury mandatory arbitration in their terms of service. This blocks consumers from pursuing legal or civil action in court, leaving them with little to no recourse when they are treated unfairly.
These practices are misleading and harmful. Players are promised fair, no-cost participation, but in reality they are shut out of free options, pressured to pay, and denied meaningful legal protections.
Other states have already taken action. **California and New York have banned sweepstakes-style casinos outright**, and similar crackdowns are spreading. These companies are beginning to falter under scrutiny because their business model relies on avoiding regulation while exploiting consumers.
At the same time, several states are drafting regulated online gambling laws with licensing fees and oversight. This approach creates accountability, safeguards players, and generates revenue for the public — rather than allowing unregulated operators to profit unchecked.
I urge you to review this issue and consider whether stronger oversight or a regulated framework would better protect consumers in our state.
Thank you for your time and for standing up for fairness in online gaming.
Sincerely,
\[Your Name]

Yo sweepstakes bum chill. They aren’t screwing people you’re just a leech. I’ve never had issues cashing out either. They are actually helping me expedite 5k a day since that’s the max in Florida.
Hello! Could you please tell me how you managed to speed up the redemptions? I'm from Florida also and was told they can’t help me with faster withdrawals.

Also in Florida and they did the same thing for me when I needed to cash out $20K. I got it all within a week $5K at a time. It seems they are scrutinizing the leaches sending in envelopes and trying to cash out the easiest and fastest way possible and I am all for it. Those types provide nothing to the site and jut suck money out.

If you have a lot of money on the site they will help you from time to time, not always. If you just randomly bink $10K and only had $100 in your account and don't play much they probably are going to tell you to wait. I've had them help me and not help me. I am also one of the highest volume players on the site.
Blocked from playing in california as of today. Not sure if it’s just their terrible geolocation or if cali is actually being removed from the pool. Looks like they will be shut down before we can multi table
Tried this site
The worst user-interface i have ever played on.
Thanks

Why is it so hard for you morons to understand if they do not offer this and allow people to do it as much as they want then they CAN NOT OPERATE IN THE UNITED STATES without facing criminal charges that will certainly carry RICO charges and potentially 20 year to life time sentences.
Why is it so hard to accept that these sites are the bad guys operating in a grey area that is clearly being shut down and they only way they can step in the grey is to offer postal requests.
Why is it so hard to see the site is nefarious and the postal requests are optimal/opportunistic. My question is why wouldnt everytone take the free money from a company operating quasi legal and has to offer free money? Are you obtuse? Just want to be righteous (but still wrong) in front of people on the internet?
Youre fools.
I also live in Florida and very likely have some of your money in my pocket if youve ever played anywhere in South Florida.

You should understand you are talking about a corrupt system. A system that stops us from simply playing a card game, with our own money because it doesn’t benefit the right people in power. A company uses a loophole that allows us that freedom but now we have little entitled letter writers threatening to try and get the site shutdown. Id say they are the morons you speak of.
I’m also in south Florida and I guarantee if we played an any significant volume your money would certainly end up in my pocket. Actual crusher vs limp wrist writer of letters wouldn’t really be fair though.

Dont hate the writters, hate the game that requires them. Hard to say im the moron since its helped push me into becoming a millionaire a decade agead of schedule. You guys benefitted the most because we were on the tables with you trying to get lucky playing through our envelope credits anyway lol
Whats the payout process like on here? I've heard of people having issues cashing out their winnings.

I fully support your cause. This scam site takes outrageous rakes, and on top of that, they don’t pay legitimate writers but instead pocket everything themselves. They’re not going to get away with it.

With a full time job, family and other obligations writing a hand written note with postage through snail mail, to receive what 5-10$ every request, and then those withdraws funds take longer to get?
Sounds like a massive waste of my time, unless I created a group of people to exploit this and mass mail in envelopes and chop up the profit? Seems like a grind I would hate, and would rather just deposit and donk it up .

Like I said, good on you but even 100 letters a month seems like a time killer for ME. Apologies for my earlier snarkiness twords your grind

Naples, Florida. Come see me anytime DM for location if you think youre a big shot.
Youre wrong. Plain and ****ing simple. These sites do not offer honest gameplay it is 100% house bots and scamming your equity. They exist because of a loophole they are the one ****ing you. The delusion to not understand this shows you likely do not understand most things in the world.
Like I said. Literally DM me if you want to run your mouth like a tough guy - you can come to my jiu jitsu gym any ****ing time you want and ill show you not only how broke you are but how weak you are too.
I'm just here to play poker. It's like playing counterstrike just for the skins. Pretty lame.
