Does anyone know if this rake structure is correct?

https://clubwptgold.zohodesk.com/portal/...

Hey everyone,

I don’t normally make posts like this, but this one hits close to home for me and a lot of us here. The California Legislature just passed AB 831, and it’s now on Governor Newsom’s desk. If he signs it (or even just lets it sit), it takes effect Jan 1, 2026 — and it basically kills off sweepstakes/dual-currency poker models like ClubWPT in California.

That means if you’re in CA, our action here — the site we play on, the community we’ve built, and for some of us an important income source — is about to get the ban hammer unless we speak up.

👉 Here’s what you can do right now:
1. Go to the official Governor’s contact form: https://www.gov.ca.gov/contact/
2. Select:
• Topic: Legislation Issues/Concerns
• Purpose: Leave a Comment
• Stance: Con
3. Subject line: Please Veto AB 831 (Online Sweepstakes/Skill-Based Poker)
4. Leave a respectful message explaining how this affects you as a player. Doesn’t need to be long — even a couple sentences counts. (I dropped a longer template below if you want to use it.)

Why it matters:
• AB 831 is written so broadly it scoops poker in with slot machine simulations.
• Instead of targeting shady operators, it would cut off all Californians from playing legally via ClubWPT and similar platforms.
• If this passes, poker gets pushed underground with zero consumer protections, while many of us lose access to the only legal online game we’ve got.

📝 Quick sample message (feel free to copy/paste + edit):

Governor Newsom, I am a California resident and an online poker player on ClubWPT. AB 831 unfairly lumps poker together with casino-style games and would eliminate one of the only legal options Californians have to play. Poker is a skill game and a community, not just gambling. Please veto AB 831 or request amendments that exempt skill-based poker.

This isn’t just noise — the Governor’s staff actually logs every comment before he decides. We’ve got until October 12, 2025 to make our voices heard. If you’re in California and you value having any sort of legal online poker here, please take five minutes to send this in.

Spread the word — we don’t want to look back in January saying “damn, we should’ve done something.”

Hate to break it to you but that clown governor is going to sign it no matter what.

Youre probably right but I’d rather try to stop it than do nothing. Its really the very least we can do.

During the last election, I spoke with my State Rep about online poker and he literally laughed in my face (started chuckling) and said that isn't something he is concerned about and just went to the next person in line (I of course did not vote for him even though I had planned to).

The issue isn't, and has never been, about the players.

Try giving him 50k next time. They only care about big donor's issues.

They also care about issues that get them votes. Unfortunately, there isn't enough online poker players for that to matter. I was an active member in the PPA for years and we made very little progress (which is obvious by the almost zero progress made at the Federal level during those years). Pretty much no one cares about online poker and the groups that lobby against it (anti-gambling, Christian, family value PACs etc. have way more influence with the politicians than we ever will even if we could form a united front to lobby them. The other issue is poker players are pretty lazy and even after Black Friday when you would think they would be motivated to contact their congressman it didn't happen at the scale needed to move the needle.

The only power you have is to move to a new state where the laws match your ideals, you’re not going to flip CA from voting in some liberal abomination on any issue. You’re not gonna flip some Gov anywhere who already got his pocket lined by interested parties who need any specific issue to fail for whatever reason they have

Maybe it feels good to write your Gov and think you’re doing something but you’re not unless you can pay them more to pass something than whoever is paying them to fail it

100%. I'm fed up with California's bs. Not even just about poker either.

Anti-sweepstakes laws will be bipartisan wherever you go. This bill didn't get a single no vote in the assembly and senate which have 30 republicans. Entrenched gambling interests have money and influence over both parties and obviously won't accept a weird loophole that keeps tax dollars outside of their states.

could anyone tell me what a "qualifying purchase" is to get into the 100ksc ambassadors freeroll? I signed up under Doug but haven't kept a balance here in a few months.

IIRC it's a $20 or more purchase

Naples, Florida. Come see me anytime DM for location if you think youre a big shot. Youre wrong. Plain and ****ing simple. These sites do not offer honest gameplay it is 100% house bots and scamming your equity. They exist because of a loophole they are the one ****ing you. The delusion to not understand this shows you likely do not understand most things in the world. Like I s

It's not that case anymore. Now if they see you as a writer who tries to redeem, they just ban you and steal your funds even if you also bought the coins. It has became a scam. I have multiple friends got scammed when they tried to redeem, most of the funds are winnings from their deposits. Feel free to reach me, I have all the screenshots of their redemptions got declined.

Yeah, thats why its okay to talk about now. Its not a free money glitch anymore. The people who told everyone they knew about it and posted in forums like reddit killed the golden goose.

No one with a 20% preflop range 3 bets 65 suited hits bottom pair and wont fold with an Ace and King on flop to an all in shove on the turn. No one calls Ace high to all in on flop and hits runner runner duece duece for the win. In every case there is a huge pause before they call. this is just 2 examples.

O I know who does players with very few hands played, beware this site is a scam for sure. My guess is they are robbing the cash games since most of the tourneys are costing the site a fortune.

stop coping and be happy we have a site in this usa with this action, I understand as a net depositor upset but don't spew your delusions it only hurts you <3

I am almost certain there are tons of international players on here now. I have no evidence to back this up, just intuition.

Enjoy the site while you can, its life expectancy for this type of action is less than 3 months.

Well yea, once they squeeze CA out of the market the game quality it going to drop a good amount instantly

Im sure its been answered before but does paying to "reveal hand" show you their cards or exposes your hand? Does the whole table see it or just you if its their hand, or just them if its your hand?

Does this rabbit river if you do it on the turn??

Absurdly moronic function regardless lol

Is there any discord/telegram chat of regs on here? Been playing .50/1-2/4 ever since I ran up a deposit last week so curious whose who. Im fadeTS

Many used to before it went from 5 to 2 per envelope, which also probably illegal. They are also just banning many writters now when they do a withdrawal and stealing their coins. Also they are taking 2 weeks to approve the withdrawal even if they do approve it.
