2025 NFL Season Thread: Can Uncle Rico save the Broncos or will they be Nixed?
Greetings friends.
Those of you who know me know me as a Niners fan full of fantastical levels of vitriol and rage. I hav
Colts are absolutely frisky and fun. Hanging with Denver is impressive. Looking at their schedule if Dimes doesn't implode they could absolutely playoff, they do not have many hard games. For the same reason I'm not sure we'll get a sense of actually how good they are.
Houston D is still the best unit between the two teams IMO but I probably need to adjust for how bad their offense is.

an additional thought in regards to potential energy for harbaughingers of future chargering of battery assault
please do not overlook another minter arc flash for the herbies
every day in practices he attempts to mcgyver his aluminum fender foil around defensive electrodes lead by a man who is able to weaponize first team all nfl predator derwin james as a bunker busting safety setting offensive right tackle screens for hall of fame past rusher khalil mack against a rookie running back yet he elbows in and ends up getting the sack for himself anyways

regarding the Travis Hunter DPI ...
simply could've been a make-up call for the egregious non-DPI that should've been called on Tyson Campbell when he hooked Tee on his slant route during a key 3rd down play (at the 10:57 mark of the 4th Q)
Vikings will line up a third string LT who has never made an NFL start against Trey Hendrickson, and Aaron Jones is confirmed out. In case you're wondering, 0-0 is not a scorigami and the first one occurred in 1920 between the Dayton Triangles and Cleveland Tigers.
I'm tempted to bet the Chargers to win the Super, but though I do think Harbaugh will get a Super Bowl with a monster team, I'm afraid it will be in slow motion ala his Michigan team. And not so much routed in 1st round of playoffs (last year) to winning it all the next. Maybe though, his NFL plan looks a little different.
Counterpoint. They beat potentially the worst team in the league and then struggled against a flawed team without their greatest asset
I don't know how you find fault with their first game. They didn't eke out a win; it was 26-10. It's a good performance with the opponent taken into account.
this was really good

Absolutely no chance of this
Harbaugh/Roman offenses are not designed to go shot for shot with Lamar or Allen. It’s all about winning the trenches and grinding 20 play drives that maybe see a play action for 60 yards in it that are incapable of ever going for the jugular. It’s a mindset that’s good enough to get you to the playoffs every year but is never good enough to win ****
The amount of times Michigan and SF have claimed defeat from the jaws of victory are the norm and not the exception. Congrats on him for pulling a Jamie Gold to win it once when if he had even a single ball he’d have 5 combined super bowls and national championships as a coach

Yeah, the problem with Bungles offensive scheme around Burrow is that it sucks for modern NFL and isn't sustainable. Even when Burrow is cooking, all of the throws look like 10/10 degree of difficulty. Whatever they were doing worked during the initial Super Bowl run, but teams adjusted and they aren't fooling anyone now. They seem to be scoring in spite of the scheme, not because of it, and merely because he can make the impossible throws to an A+ tier WR corp. They can't (and won't) run the ball effectively which compounds the problem. When they aren't clicking and threading needles on time, or when the opposing defense has a good scheme / performance that clamps the X and Z, the whole thing collapses like a house of cards.

I don't know, so far Harbaugh/Roman are calling a different game than we're used to seeing from them. This isn't a Kaepernick or JJM offense. It all comes down to Herbie.

Imagine if the Bengals had fired Zac and hired Ben. But what do I know?
PFF grades seem to have the most outliers against the rest.
Well PFF is nonsense so you'll have that
one and only stat that matters is the scoreboard
