Good timing with the bat signal!I have been afk from this thread lately, work has just been too insane to shitpost on top of watching all the games. But just wanted to pop in to hype up JKS.I assume nobody has been watching Cal (why would you?) but our true freshman quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele might actually already be the best quarterback in the country. It's very rem

My mom went to Cal. LOL’d at the band thing.

I'm a bit skeptical all these 10-2 teams will make it. Then again this is the new playoff so going to be some marginal teams making it. It does seem to be the cutoff the last few years looking at end of regular season rankings.

You want to have your schedule just tough enough so 10-2 gets you in but not like Indiana and Notre Dame last year soft. But also not hard like bama last year. Also losing head to head tiebreakers is bad unless your smu/byu then it doesn't matter.

Record 7-10. Superlocks: 1-2

Here's the LOCKS of the week:

Iowa -2.5 (-105)
OKlahoma -6.5 (-130)
Michigan -1.5 (-115)
Illinois ml (+200)
Michigan St +18.5 (-110)

$20 to win $719.60

Super lock: Michigan -1.5. Guys. Here me out. This is not the same Michigan team that faceplanted vs Oklahoma. They were super conservative that game. Too many pointless runs vs 8-9 man fronts, too many screens to nowhere, just overall horrible, loser game plan designed to protect a young QB from mistakes. Here's the thing tho. The coaching staff is finally realizing that yes, Michigan really does have a special GOAT level QB. The staff basically admitted they **** the bed against Oklahoma and it's never happening again. Biff Poggi:

"We thought at Oklahoma we would take the air out of the ball because they're an air raid offense. We're not taking the air out of the ball ever again, not with this guy taking the snaps."

They now fully understand that Bryce is HIM, rendering the Oklahoma disaster a useless data point. This Michigan team is now EXTREMELY dangerous. Their offense will now be revolving around the clear best player in the country. Nebraska aint there yet. They don't have a Big Ten level DL. We're gonna be able to push them around and now we're gonna be WAY more dynamic with a Bryce oriented offense. Nebraska doesn't have a chance this game. Michigan -1.5 is as free as it gets fellas. Michigan 34 Nebraska 13.

Glad to hear Biff's been able to find work...

Is he really saying Michigan decided to center their game plan around fear of the new Oklahoma offense having seen them put up 35 points against Illinois State (roughly equivalent to a bad Sunbelt team)?

I agree it's premature to judge a freshman qb on his first big road game, but it was plenty enough to judge his receivers as inadequate to the task. I bet at least one of them is nicknamed "Stone Hands" or "No Look".

Looks like Michigan didn't throw the ball much last game just let the qb run more. His throwing stats are pretty mid so far.

Been watching since 1988. Here's my top 5 ranking so far:

1) Bryce Underwood
2) Tom Brady
3) Joe Montana
4) Mahomes
5) Peyton Manning

Seriously. I have never seen anything like Underwood. Dude is a freak of nature, mentally and physically. He can make all the throws. Basically Cam Newton--who is arguably the best college QB ever--on crack.

The Michigan-Oklahoma game was one of the worst coached games I have ever seen. It honestly looked like they weren't even trying. Gotta go back to Brady Hoke to have that same "wtf is going on here" feeling. If they truly open up the passing game and crucially let Bryce run, that should stress out the defense enough for our pedestrian receivers to get open. We still have two great TEs (both were out vs Oklahoma).

Gotta be honest, I don't ever remember being this tempted to place a five game parlay betting the exact opposite on each and every game. Fortunately I have no confidence in Auburn and don't bet anyway.

Rutgers 21 Iowa 14

EARLY IN THE 2ND QUARTER.

What? Oh Iowa returned a kickoff all the way. Still though

rutgers and iowa in an absolute shootout right now

ideal schedule is 4 top-25 (but not top-5) teams and then 8 creampuffs

go 2-2 against the top-25 teams and beat the creampuffs and you're in

basically what Notre Dame's schedule is, although swap Boise and Pitt with like two MAC schools, and then maybe upgrade Arkansas a little bit and now you're good

As always, the worst teams to play are the ones in the 30-50 range, good enough to beat you, but not good enough to get you any credit.

1-0 baby! LETS GO!!!

PS: I think I'm undefeated on non-Saturday games.

Dabo is ****ing washed. ****ing clown

Oh buddy this may have been optimistic

by schu_22 m

Have you looked at Wisconsin's schedule?

Holy **** they might win 4 games

Syracuse qb just got murdered

Clemson is just getting dominated on both sides. Quite the team Dabo has

Clumpson trying so hard to injure QB and skill players, then Dabo objects vociferously to the calls. Meh. F'em .

Who knew Angelli’s a pretty good pooch punter?

Utah & TT seem to be most interested in breaking the record for most turnovers in a game.

Dabo a desperate man, and a desperate redneck is a dangerous thing. I used to like him, the rags to riches story.

I believe the kids would refer to Dabo and the Clemson team as "bootycheeks"

Oh Arkansas, that might be the worst I've ever seen. Never change

Memphis get the first down here
