Did you figure it out? I just played a session and it went from 10 to 4...

No. I looked through the FAQ and can’t figure it out. Only think I can think of is that it gives you 10 and then converts them to a hand analysis later on. I had some hands that were analyzed that I didn’t request.

If this training site pivot works out you know sites like clubspoker and global are chomping at the bit to also change and get rid of those $5 sweepstakes letter grifters. The only problem is clubspoker and global have a casino side as well…

You only played 6 hands

" any time you play a hand (specifically, voluntarily putting Chips in the pot), the Hand Analysis tool will automatically use a Hand Analysis balance and populate the tool with feedback for that hand."

0.0000% does this change anything and is 1000000% an illegal model and illegal gaming company per US law.

If anything this will accelerate states to send cease and desist letters to the site and tell the owners of the site if they step foot in the US they will be hit with RICO.

This clearly breaks the UIGEA, the wire act, and literally ALL online gaming laws in the US.

They are clearly a gaming company facilitating online gaming. Just cause they tell you "we call it X" doesnt mean its not "Y". This is the way the goverment will look at it and I would wager this "manipulation" i will call it - will likely lead to warrants for arrest not just shut down the site.

If you understand how the real world works and how government works when it is trying to shut something down or make laws for compliance then you know that they will end up making an example out of this site the way they did pokerstars and full tilt.

Idk how anyone can defend this bs and try to reason why this would work or is ok. It is clearly against all gaming and wire act laws in the US - just cause you want a site to play low stakes tourneys on constantly doesnt mean we need to try to make excuses for an international criminal organization.

God damn you mailers are some of the saltiest people I've ever come in contact with. Just because you can't have your gravy train doesn't mean you need to spend endless effort stopping ours.

"If I can't have it no-one can waaaa"

Just let us have our fun, don't ruin it for everyone else just because you can't collect your mail ins.

I wish we could just have regulated poker but this is the best we can get online. Sports betting is legal in my state and it crazy to look at the deposit and withdrawal options on the app. I wish we could just have that with poker.

I am hoping to build up a big enough bankroll playing the smaller stakes online to transition to playing live. Then look back on these grey area sites.

Just remember don’t keep a lot of money invested in the site. You could log on tomorrow and be greeted with a DOJ notice that the domain has been seized.

You cannot buy this $19.99 package because you only have $ 0.01 left on your 30-day purchase limit of $0.01.

Anyone having this issue?

What if you had invested 100s of hours, thousands in postage to the letter of their terms and conditions and federal law and then they start banning people like you and taking your funds you played through and you have no recourse because of the arbitration agreement. The problem is this isnt poker, its a sweepstakes and training site now. How many poker rooms can you pay 50 cents and see your opponents hole cards lol

It's also in the ToS that these sites can ban you at any time for any reason at their discretion.

So trying to abuse their promotion was pretty stupid.

Its not their promotion, its federal law. Equal dignity in entry to a sweepstakes between paying and non paying entrants. You know the line that all these sites advertise "No Purchase Necessary!" Thats federal law that requires that disclaimer.

They're blatantly banning writters and thats obviously illegal but no lawyer is going to take the case because of the arbitration clause. Also taking it from 5 to 2 per letter is probably illegal with the equal dignity clause, spending $100 vs writting all day and wasting a month waiting for yout 100 credits isnt the same treatment.

To make my position clear, I opted out of arbitration and not banned..... yet

Sweepstakesking is sadly right about the site having no chance of surviving and being more of a target when they're trying to exploit new loopholes to stay in business in unregulated states illegally. You may all think he abused the system and maybe he did but that doesn't make him wrong about all this. The site and unregulated markets just have their days numbered.

It’s live! The super cool new thing!!!

Oh you only play MTT!

No soup for you. This site was cool
While it lasted but what a ****ing shell game their playing.

If Draftkings wanted to get into the poker scene we would all be playing there yesterday. Hahaha.

My hope is that Draftkings and Fanduel see how successful this site was (at first) and rethink whether it is worth getting into online poker. Maybe they are already talking about internally. I know both of them have made statements in support of the MSIGA so maybe they are just waiting until there are enough states to make it worth it.

Also Fanduel and PokerStars are owned by Flutter. It would be great if they could just use the PokerStars software and slap the FanDuel label on it and be a skin with shared player liquidity.

I defend this BS cuz government sucks. How can a government have a right to tell you what form of gambling you can do? Like it's okay to play lottery, it's okay to play keno, it's okay to play bingo, but it's not okay to play poker? I mean it's okay to sports bet. But it's not okay to play poker? I mean where do these guys get off thinking they got the right to tell us what the hell we can do?

I'm not sure it's correct. I've played a short 30 minute session, definitely more than 6 hands.

But anyway, I did find the answer in FAQ and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It would be nice to spend those points on specific hands and situations. Them taking away points for "hand analysis" on each hand is kinda useless since no matter how many points you will have, you will nuke them in a single session and not even get to see the hands that you wanted to analyze but there will be plenty of junk hands with analysis that I didn't ask for.

Oh well. As long as the site is still running I'm okay with that since the action is pretty soft. Could be better implemented tho.

Does anyone else find it strange that they were able to implement a GTO analyzer tool before PLO? Is this something UpSwing already had?

Does anyone think this GTO tool applies here? People 3 betting J3 off and jamming with high card on a wet board on the river doesnt even seem like poker. Idk seems like bingo tonight. My AK preflop is 0 for 4 this evening vs pockets and my pocket preflop vs AK is 0/1. Lol

Anyone else having disconnect issues in tourneys? I was playing the 33 10k early riser and disconnected at first break.

So are Cali residents still able to play on this new CHIPS model?

why would any sports betting site want to promote their punters to sit in poker games where bots and grinders take their sports betting money each week? if they were to do anything it would be attach casino games and slots and make the slowest, smallest stakes most wonkey poker room they can.

FWIW DraftKings does have a player-to-player online poker product available in 3 states. Like you say though, it is wonky and small and has slot-type elements included.

https://pokerfuse.com/online-poker/unite...

It is basically a Jackpot Sit & Go, but after three 2-minute levels of play all remaining players are forced all-in every hand.
