Yes. But not sure what will happen if the governor signs the bill. My guess is that ClubWPTGold will continue to allow California players to play, because they believe this new model does not violate the bill. It would then be up to the state to either do something about it or not.

I just played a hand on Club WPT Gold where I was not awarded the pot after winning.
On the river, I pressed the all-in button. Immediately after the software froze, similar to what happens when you have a connection interruption. After a few seconds, the software caught up and it updated the table. My opponent had left (he was stacked), but I did not receive the pot. I checked the hand replayer on the table, sure enough, it showed that I had won the hand. I decided maybe I should leave the table and that would update my chip balance. Nope, I was just not awarded the pot at all, and the pot simply disappeared (I guess they took it?). Very strange and extremely worrying.

Did you contact support?

I'm sure the legit fellows at Grand Cru Concepts in Cyprus didn't take it they would never.

RNG seems pretty ****ed but I guess that is just completely standard on every single poker site now

im not sure what youre talking about. The rise of online gambling has contributed to a significant drop in brick-and-mortar casino revenue in Atlantic City. total atlantic city revenue in 2024 was basically flat with 2006! when you break out just casino floor revenue its a bloodbath.

Good imo. Small casinos and tribes who have had a monopoly on certain forms of gambling and stripping away poker and having no competition leading to an inferior product, and bad customer service.

Doesn’t look like the change to a “training site” has hurt traffic or game quality one bit. Still by far the most action on any American site regulated or unregulated and it’s not even close. Once PLO gets released the games are gonna be insane.

Honestly I hope so. Such a nasty feature.(esp since the winning player doesn’t get the cut for revealing his heist). And if you’re spending it when you win a hand too many they have found a cash cow.

And also not having hand analysis ready for MTTs was a huge rug pull.

How much do they charge to use the feature?

1 straddle, but if you use it too many times in a day the price starts to increase

I did, I actually got a really great customer service email back (with a precise accounting ledger). Turns out I was awarded the pot, and it did go to my table balance, but I had an internet connection interruption that caused a UI error where it looked like the pot disappeared, when it actually did come to me. When the software caught up from my internet lag after my all-in shove, the table was empty (we were playing heads-up), and my table balance was the amount left in my stack after putting my opponent all-in. So from my point of view, it looked like the pot just disappeared. Far better customer service than other sites I've played.

I doubt that they have the capability to provide mtt hand analysis that takes into account ICM so it would be worthless. Probably why there are obvious bots in the cash games and not so much in the tournaments.

Meh. Cashed out $599. Still have a few hundred on there in fun money but after FTP I'll book the win before things go south.

at 5/10 its usually $10-15, 10/20 $15-30 and 25/50 $50-75

Think it depends on pot size but seems random sometimes, either way I've for sure spent thousands lmao

Has anyone been able to get the .exe client running on linux (ubuntu), particularly via wine? It works until you have to geolocate and the app can't seem to connect with ubuntu location even if I add wine to /etc/geocode/geocode.conf.

Curious if anyone has gotten it working!
