OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of

someone was saying what a great actress Maeve is, and I agree. I actually looked her up and went and watched her movie from a few years ago CODA.. she was great in that too, totally different vibe. but I think it might have won best picture? it was at least nominated.
CODA is a great movie. Loved it.
I'm liking Task, but find it funny when they do shows in the Philadelphia area. Throw in dozens of bottles of Yuengling and a Flyers phone background.
Im rewatching Homeland with the wife, second half of season 2 now.
Episode 4 and 5 of season 2 are really all time great tv imo. Off the charts acting by Claire Danes and Damian Lewis.
Its excellent tv in general up to this point, but i remember second half of season 2 and 3 falling off when it aired.
I dont think i ever started S4 because the story was kinda done, but im reading its still great tv for 5 more seasons?

it def falls off, but for me it was still enjoyable... if you can get past the racism and propaganda

yeah that was me. I think she plays the beaten down 20 year old with way too much responsibility, only adult in the room incredibly well.
This weeks ep was good but I do wonder if some of the tip offs of the leaks are head fakes
homeland did fall off from season 1-3 but its still in my top 10 series of all time.
Plus my dad who is not into tv like that used to watch it with me and we would watch it together, he said saul is best character in tv history ha

Yeah the first seasons were good. I gave up when she moved to Germany, not sure which season that was.
Also, Quinn confirmed badass obviously.
Task is good through 5. Always funny when you are watching a miserable show and there is the guy you immediately like and its like, oh yeah, hes going to die
I just started Task and through two episodes I'm a fan. Dark thrillers are my jam so it is my kind of show.
Couple great acting with great writing and you have Task. Really look forward to each new episode

I'm watching Task about 3 episodes in. It keeps my interest but man, every character, good or bad, police or criminal or bystander, is in a miserable state of mind and there are lots of characters. Lol, even the setting in semi rural Penn. is drab. The lead FBI agent is this older exhausted pot belly guy who is barely interested about his task to get the criminals. I think that I like the show because it makes my humdrum life look like bliss.
Anyone remember Bates Motel?
I watched it until s3 when it aired and remember enjoying it. Started it again now and its solid, suspension of disbelief, entertainment.
First episodes of Homeland S3 are rough, but good twist. I just hope there's also a season Carrie is toned down a bit lol

life in USA 2025
Caught up with Task and I can’t wait for the next two episodes. No one does depressing thrillers like HBO.
Peacemaker S2 was fun, but also pretty redundant?
If you watch S1 and the last 5 minutes of S2 for whatever role he's gonna play in the DCU you're up to speed.
John Cena really is a great actor though, i hope he gets alot more serious roles

I was coming here to post something similar. Entertaining season but weak final episode imo. Kind of reminded me of Season 2 of Outer Range where each episode was enjoyable but when analyzed as a whole it feels lacking
Last two episodes of Task have been outstanding. Ep6 felt like the finale but there are still some storylines to wrap up.
First episode of The Chair Company is out and it's glorious.
The Pitt is the only show in recent memory that I've finished and want to immediately rewatch.
Definitely earned the realistic reputation.
I watched some behind of the scenes stuff with some of the actors and was like "oh yeah they're actually not doctors".
