I wish everyone here to have someone in their lives who's as kind to them as you are to Trooper

Come on,Trooper is that you?

Trooper has been an epic fail since he moved to Vegas to be a pro pokerplayer.

Has he managed to earn money along the years from like merch sales and TT? Sure. But that isnt the same as being successfull. He has been scraping by through the years, while a bunch of other vloggers that started after him have been crushing it.

Look at where Trooper is now after 10 years. Fat,bad health, dying youtube channel, broke, unemployed,no safety net or anything to show for what you describe as being successfull.

Of course they dont wanna try the candy business in another area. Now they know how much work that is.

These two are both fat/lazy,they wanna walk around donking on slots, drinking cofee, shopping at costco or eating burgers and pizzas pretending to be YT stars with nothing but small dying YT channels.

Lmao @ very sharp people getting mixed up with this joker.

Very sharp people work with other sharp people. Or people with a lot of money who can bankroll them. They don't work with imbeciles that have nothing to offer.

This. I mean just watch a few videos of the guy that was helping Trooper with the bigger plays. That guy definitely isn't super sharp.

It really is funny how Trooper pivoted to slots just a few months ago and now he's talking like he's been a long time AP slot hustler with a huge network of other AP slot guys. Using all the buzzwords in hustling. Now he's starting drama about other YouTube slot channels.

He didn't even win money at poker, much less substantial money.

His YouTube channel has been absolutely stagnant. It hit or almost hit 50k subs and plateaued at a point it usually continues gaining subs. In fact his channel has been bleeding subs.

Trooper Thursday has been a weekly singular home game since inception and it's mostly the same crew every time.

The verdict on the candy business is in and it's not pretty. Selling out of product doesn't equate to success. In fact I would say it's the opposite. Supply not meeting demand is a big thing especially when production is capped. That's costing them lost profit. Also, we don't know how much the profit margins were. They were buying ingredients at Costco and not a bulk wholesaler. If the candy business was so successful but they struck out going big with the commercial kitchen, why didn't they just go back to making stuff at home and sell at the farmer's markets? They snap folded so quick.

So I would say as others have pointed out, he failed at everything he's tried.

Today ELD makes it to the airport from Matix in under 19 minutes.

ELD finds an alternate route to avoid the embankment but now has to run across the six lane highway to the airport.

ELD reports from under a bridge and explains the Guadalupe River.

ELD states the term river is misleading since it is not very strong of a waterway.

The bridge by the river is an ideal Nomadic camping spot since it provides shade and flowing water for Nomadic laundry.

ELD is now +$8 but complains about the blinds in San Jose.

ELD states that in Vegas people leave chips on the poker table and take extended breaks but in San Jose it is easy to see where people went.

ELD gets to the airport at 7:26 pm and finds out Spirit is 15 minutes late. ELD objects to Spirit violating the rubric by flying faster to attempt to make up the lost 15 minutes.

ELD arrives at Las Vegas airport at 10:36 pm and heads to MGM.

ELD plays one hour and two minutes at MGM and explains his session in the parking garage.

ELD is very tired, and he will head back to the permanent address.

ELD will go to the weight room tomorrow.

Wonder how much a jaywalking ticket would have cost Rice as he tried to get back to the airport.

He talks about how it must be illegal tor flights to arrive early or late ... after the jaywalking.

Also no result from MGM. So -$142 plus whatever his flights and parking cost.

Under California law Nomads can get their fines reduced to zero. ELD is a legal expert and surely will file form TR-320:

Not the worse plan. Do what makes them happy and stay
barely above water financially until they hit the main

Trooper's 1-Dimensional thinking in action - only consider an immediate milestone (of selling candy) without understanding whether achieving that milestone actually gets you closer to your goals (a sustainable, profitable business). People like Trooper find it painful to think things through because thinking is actually the hardest work of all. They'd rather throw themselves (and their money) into action because that looks productive, then just hope fate and luck gets them to the finish line.

Man decides to start a fruit business.
Man buys watermelons for $5.
Man sells watermelons at market for $4.
after two months of hard strenuous work, Man discovers he is not making money.
Man: "I know what I need to do: buy and sell more watermelons!"

So he did one of his hobo day trips on the crappiest airline there is where he comes back the same night bc he's too cheap to buy a hotel room to play poker for an hour? And left the game bc the action was great? Amazingly this makes total sense for him. I mean yea why play in games like this where you can actually make money when you can rot away at mgm grand with promo chaser

I don't understand how these one day trips on the crappiest airlines, walking from place to place and playing an hour or two of poker before rushing back to the airport can be enjoyable or relaxing. Especially for someone living in Vegas for gods sakes.

Alright,so our hero Timmay posted a nearly 20 minutes vlog at his first channel. It was a TT day,but most of the video was Twatts spewing on lots of stuff on his mind.

I think Trooper was on the verge of breaking down and crying 15 minutes in.

https://youtu.be/VIBqa4IxdfU?t=905s

Surely getting a dealing job with a guaranteed $4-7K a month is better than what they are doing now.

It is surely possible. If the reality is as discussed in this thread regarding serious financial stress, that is some of the absolute hardest stretches you can go through in life.

As far as i know from reading about this stuff from mental health experts, doctors and what not serious financial stress is on top of the list of stuff that makes people commit suicide. Divorce and break ups+ death in close family on the same level or a solid number 2.

I am gonna be totally honest,i have experienced this personally many years ago as well. I have clinical depression, and this stretch occured when i developed my first really serious depression that took me between 1 and 2 years to fully recover from. I was too sick to keep going to work, too run down mentally to manage to play poker or to secure any kind of stable income. Struggle every month to pay bills and/or the mental stress of getting credit card bills you arent able to pay does something with you.

For people that follows Lex O,he recently uploaded a vlog for the first time in months. Havent got around to watch it yet, just thought i would inform the thread.

The trips are a tradition instituted prior to the permanent address to kill time from Friday afternoons to Sunday mornings.

ELD when he was engaged in Nomadic method at Harrah's and previously Rio (when Rio was a CET casino) needed to have a place to sleep and exist aside from the Harrah's or South Pointe parking garage on the weekends. Leaving at the 7th inning and not finishing his pocket bread was so ELD could get back to the airport to return to Vegas by 10 am Sunday.

ELD would sleep on the planes and/or the airport and was more tired prior to the permanent address since sleep is not allowed in Casino floors and sportsbooks. Even the Rio sportsbook would kick Nomads out for sleeping. Said another way, the weekend Nomadic trips were easier on his sleep system as compared to 48 hour Nomadic weekend challenges in Vegas. ELD also previously had access to both the MGM Platinum lounge for food plus the four CET drinks, which weighed in favor of the Vegas 48 hour Nomadic challenge despite the sleep deprivations it caused.

However, with the permanent address ELD relies less on the need to sleep and now the Nomadic trips are merely to reach 100 poker rooms to prove ELD is a legitimate poker player.

After the permanent address ceases ELD has experience to draw on for weekend trips for sleeping purposes.

Oh yeah, the classic and at this point legendary homeless weekends when Rice went 48 hours+ full homeless style with no shower or no personal hygiene to avoid paying for hotel. Sometimes towards the end when he was so tired he coudnt walk any longer or stand up on his feet he went to his car to sleep even in the blistering summer heat without AC in the car. Legendary stuff.

Imo this stuff alongside starve himself for days to save money on food and cooking dogfood in his dungeon hotelroom is what contributed to him becoming a forever trusted member of the Las Vegas whack pack.

They can't be. To top it off he basically does them on no sleep. Then spends the day stumbling around some random city half asleep killing time until his flight back.
I've taken flights where I'm tired (like a 6 am flight I just stay up all night for) but I sleep good on planes and if I'm not going home I'll take a nap in the hotel when I land. But he doesn't get hotels for his trips so that's out.

I only watched the bay 101 video of his latest hobo expedition but it seems from reading here like he spent 14-16 hours away from Vegas to play 2-3 hours of poker which makes no sense. Then when he got back he went through the motions at mgm grand for an hour folding while falling asleep to get another precious hour towards his gold card in the most inefficient way possible.

At least he managed to climb up what basically amounted to a 15 foot high hill. Good thing he's such a gym rat.

What if mama leaves her money to Trooper's stepfather?

Was at aria the other day finishing off a buffalo ascension play, as I am finishing who do you know sits next to me, trooper and the GF.
Fires a $5 on the machine next to me that was nowhere near a play.
He’s got a lot to learn if he wants to be a full time AP still it seems, even the guys cards building and taking stuff early wouldn’t have touched this machine.
Hope for his sake he is not firing that stuff regularly.

If you run across a freeway filled with California drivers, a fine is the least of your worries. Especially for someone like Diesel, who isn't exactly an Olympic sprinter.

This isn't remotely surprising. lmao@ taking high variance plays way early on the vegas strip with low rtps when you're a busto.
If he's firing there early he's definitely firing early all the time.
Same crap pman was doing. The guy would find some regal link machine 50 people have checked already and think he's some genius taking a play they all passed on way early.

There are so many people checking machines in Vegas that the real idiots fire way too early bc good plays are hard to find especially on super well known machines that have been out for a while.
i've even seen comments on youtube like "I wouldn't play this in (insert small market) but i'd take it in Vegas bc it's so competitive there". Makes absolutely no sense.

While possible, the odds are in trooper's favor. If
he doesn't get a big inheritance then he can go
back to being a poker dealer.
