Just today a mosque was set ablaze with two people still inside that police are treating as a hate crime.

Note "hate crime" not "terrorist offence" like the synagogue attack.

If this had been a synagogue it would have been front page news on every site, but because it's a mosque no MSM are even reporting it.

There’s also the very tangible reality that some degree of opposition to Israel stems from general opposition to the US and its global reach. If US support for Israel wanes in the future, it is not necessarily indirectly related to support for Palestinians. There’s a very real possibility that waning US support for Israel will just see the ME conflict taking a backseat in world politics to another more US centric relationship.

So Hamas is demanding a complete Israel withdrawal and then they want to negotiate scheduled hostage releases where they decide who is released and when. So basically their demands haven't changed at all, they reject the 20 point peace plan, and have called Trump's bluff.

Most of the time Trump makes demands and is given an FU in reply, he can just pretend it didn't happen and move on. But I just dont see it working in this case, given the emotional investment of the antisemetic left and Islamist supporters in supporting Hamas.
