lots of hidden animosity at this table aside from Grumpy

Final table now

110k @ 10-20k

1.29million total in play

8 left
12/24k
i have 6bets

5th

felt the energy was just drained out of me after the whole table came after me for making a stand on playing it out.

there was a huge argument when i say no to paying the bubble because i knew the guy that proposed it was angle shooting (it was hella complicated, maybe I will explain in detail when the guy's name is released on hendon. There was an incident he forced the dealer to bust out a player who had 10k chip left but no one saw it and floor was not called) - but it's basically something like "i'm short so i want the bubble to be paid" and the guy who propelled it had the whole table agree on the falsified fact that i am hardcore refusing to pay the bubble. I can boil down the details - but the point is it's not about simply paying the bubble or not. You should be playing to win the tournament and not make some extra bucks.

It is so hard to explain in words. Essentially the bubble pay was never brought up until the guy who was super short brought it up. But if the whole table knew of the bubble paying when we are more than 1 away from the bubble then there is a more solid argument.

Anyway, I don't expect ppl to magically understand what I am saying but these deals feel so forced. The structure says pay 5 ppl so let's play and pay 5. I have certainly chopped but it's absolutely not in such a condition - I propose ICM if they want to pay 6th. But heck, why do people look for guaranteed money? We are gambling.

Sucks I didn't pick up any playable hand for 1-1.5hour but I honestly am sick of playing against these OMCs.

Then the korean chipleader told me "Dont ask me for chop after we are ITM." Man, I never brought it up. My intention is to play the whole thing out like I did vs Lord, Weng, Milgrom, Gregorich. It felt like today on the final table that I was playing against people whose life will be changed by a couple grand.

no justice in poker

these bums make me wanna make it in poker even more.

im raging.

seriously, felt like i was playing against bums from orleans. You know what? They are indeed bums from orleans. Like that prop from capitol casino.

****ing aids.

I need to make it in poker, i need to graduate uc davis.

I gotta take care of my roll, I gotta grind good games, improve skills. Be my own poler god.

It felt like as the whole table went after me; i was prioritize not bubbling more than winning. Imagine how I wouldve felt if i had bubbled! I am exhausted. Thx for the support. Gn.

How do you balance school and poker? You seem so entrenched in the Vegas gambling world, it's difficult to imagine you have much time or mental energy to focus on schoolwork. Are you getting a PhD in physics somehow? And what do you plan to do with that degree when your fallback seems to be "grind $8/$16 O8 at the Orleans for $20K/year."

Ye honestly. Not going down to orleans grinding 8/16 o8 if im broke, prolly just kms instead.

i F..king hate these bums - like that bitch who threatened me in sacramento, liike that prop that owed money, like that chinese runescape ripoff game scammer. the reality of the world is so ****ing dark. glad there are couple ppl who support me like chris schmitz floor at wynn, ted forrest, ben miner, adam greenlee, jae pak, david prociak. It's good to have friends. Seriously how did I go from 340k to just getting blinded out to ~200k at 20/40k then had to be in danger and got all in 2-1 fav overall equity and bricked. It was not the type of poker I love; these bums dont wanna battle. They want to cheat to a win.

And yes, you know, the bum i use here is not the same bum in "Jimmy is a bum for not changing clothes multiple days in a row."... just to be clear.

God, these tours.

i blame myself for not winning.

How did I lose to these trash O8 players.

Cuz it's a tournament, it has increasing blinds.

That's not hard to explain, complex, complicated, or unique. The short stack on the bubble asked to pay the bubble. Happens super often. Everyone else agreed because they are all regs and understand how to give action to get action, or they understood that the average stack was like 4 bets so having a contentious super tight bubble would only tard the game up more.

Six of one...

Because you said no to paying the bubble so instead of the short stack(s) throwing their chips in with A4xx to try to run up a stack, everyone played too tight to try to squeeze into the money which worsened an already pretty crapshooty spot.

It was not the type of poker I love; these bums dont wanna battle. They want to cheat to a win.

Seems dumb to name players you're playing against and then say "they are cheating" when what they are doing is asking for a deal in a tourney.

No, the way it came about from that black guy and old guy for paying the bubble was shady as hell. I have enough live experience I trust my judgement on the spot. Why would we pay the bubble when the structure says 5 ppl pay. I wouldve played differently if i knew 6ppl pay instead of 5.

The black guy pretended not knowing mincash is 4x when he had 2bets then the old guy ran with it. We are here to gamble.

If these guys are regs, then tour poker is not for me. So tarded. We should be battling and find ways to spin up and not beg for a lil more cash. Play crapshoot the way it is. The avg bet is 4bets thats just the nature of it. Seriously, F these ppl. I should have just said no and stfu. But come on, the whole table openly talk about how stupid i am etc. and ask what I do. I say i live here n play cash and i dont play tournaments to hv them stop.

Cheat is a strong word but my god that black guy has so many angle shooting moves, including forcing the dealer to bust out the guy who had 10k chip left.

The horse FT was arguably much tougher but much more enjoyable - mark roland and bin weng joked about even chopping but thats it, just a joke - everyone played heart out to cash n to win.

its this guy that won it....gary bolden

How can u say you only "just realized" min is 4x when you are down to 2bets and try to negotiate for bubble pay.

There is no justice in poker, man. Apparently, a lot of ppl know him at the wynn.

I need a score in tour n ill quit this form of poker.

Nothing is more important than your health, and that includes mental health.

I'm trolling you about getting kicked out of school because you seem to be gambling constantly: tournaments, cash games, online, baccarat—night and day. Do you ever sleep? Do you ever do laundry? Do you ever make yourself a meal at home or go to the gym or for a hike or something? Do you ever socialize with non-poker-playing friends?

There's no way you're finishing a PhD program keeping this kind of schedule. But more important, you're making yourself crazy. And that's not good.

If you're posting suicidal ideation on a public forum, you need help. At the very least, you need a good night's sleep and to work on your coping skills.

Sleep, exercise, diet, and stress management are the foundations of a healthy, productive life, whether you're teaching physics at a community college in the Midwest or grinding daily mixed-game tourneys in Vegas. Balance is key.

Good luck figuring it out.

I think the root of the tilt is from giving away the chip lead to the korean guy where i defended 358j in the bb to the co or hj open and xx on 8kt two club flop n turn jc i lead w two pair he tank raises me. he has been playing super tight and always has the goods. so i make the fold and lost 1 big bet to him... and it went down hill after that.

Tyty. ye the tournament is driving me insane. Having to constantly think about chip stacks n calculate blinds. I feel so comfy in a cash game. There are tilting spots but capped at 5 out of 10. But busting the tour, esp in yesterday's fashion, tilt meter is 9.5/10!!!

I barely sleep... No laundry... No exercise. Hiked a trail briefly in march in vegas w a buddy and that's when he was living here. Don't talk to my colleagues in school or college buddies no more. I reached out to a couple but got no answer. It's been so different. I like to go on twitter and read about those horrific news about killing, scamming, political movements, propoganda setups and analysis, in addition to poker n sports; esp news in china, i have extra tools to do research in many things and get info many ppl just simply dont have the access to.

Polarized mental spots.

Appreciate it.

Paying the bubble/chopping tournaments is very standard, especially if it's all regs/people who know what they are doing. Not saying anything when you're a big stack on the bubble and then suggesting to pay the bubble when you are a short stack is annoying, sure, but it isn't shady or cheating or unethical. Saying "oh I didn't realize how big the bubble is" is him ****ing with you. Asking what you do for a living is the biggest "I'm ****ing with you" statement in the world! Did they also ask you if you liked to play golf/tennis/pool?

It's possible from Bolden to be messing, but certainly not the korean guy and the old guy. It's downright attacking from the other people at the table. I said no, should be the end of it. I regret bringing up "ICM better than paying the bubble", should've shut up after saying no. But getting constantly openly talked about how dumb I am being for not paying the bubble is annoying. I hate that my play got affected by the attacks. I hate that I didn't go on to win. And if these people are what we call "regs", poker tour is not for me.

As far as Gary goes, it is certainly cheating when he was all in for 20k and the other guy was all in for 30k, Gary took his turn bet and added on top of the river 20k to represent he had 35k out there while the guy only had 30k and forced the dealer to bust the other guy out (@7th place) while the other guy clearly had 10k more. I would not give Gary Bolden the benefit of the doubt. There have been many other angly behaviors from him earlier in the tournament. Before FT I said there were a lot of animosity at the table, it was mainly with Gary too.

Felt that the prestige of the Wynn series is lowered because of people like that. But similarly they may think it's lowered because of me. I'll just not play then.
Currently the overlay in 50k gtd 1100 O8 is a whopping 25k, but I don't think I am going.

all it takes is david prociak to tell me "**** the bad experience go get the free EV" for me to get dressed walk thru the rain n get to encore 6min before late reg closes

ironic

sitting next to gary again today after down to two tables

i hv 14bets lets go
