2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
I calling Golden and Tet breakout games this weekend.
Vidal was not claimed on waivers - he's gotta be worth a pickup for free until we see just how bad the LAC running game gonna be in the short term right?
Cost would be Ray Davis, Ollie Gordon or Blake Corum
Shaidy is on LOLz today.

Definitely - those other guys only have backup value, Vidal could actually have real value soon.
4 straight tush pushes is what finally got me on board with banning it haha
Well Skatttebo being a bust at the NFL level is definitely going down as my worst take of the season.
I'm especially bitter about it cause I could of took him in 2 maybe 3 dynasty rookie drafts and 1 dynasty start up. Genuinely looks like he could be another Kyren except he's doing it early in his rookie year

I don't know what made people think he was gonna be a bust. You don't have a season like he did at ASU ending in one of the greatest college performances against Texas and just fail at the pro level. We knew he was different. People bought into the "He is too slow" narrative similar to people buying into Bo Nix "Having a weak arm" narrative. Sometimes you just have to watch the film. This is a big miss.

It kind of happens all the time. Big college producers flopping in the league.
I liked Skat but wasn’t sure when he would get a shot with Tracy there .
The main concern with Skat is that he’s going to knock himself out and miss week 17. He looks good.
Dart and Skattebo carrying me in many leagues. God bless Skarttebo.
Victory lapping some exposures, which means I just jinxed all these players (sorry!)

He's actually not a very good runner between the tackles. He is a nice thumper at the goal line. I would sell right now if I had him in redraft. I have a bad feeling he's gonna come back down to Earth. I didn't expect much from Tracy his first game back but he will get more involved. There are no other legit threats on this team so defenses could just start focusing on him. The minute inevitably Dart misses time this team is gonna plummet into darkness. I'm still happy to have him on a bunch of teams but this feels a little fragile to me.

I'm only 13% Skat. I could have swore I had more. I guess I was taking a ton of him early on and then stopped. My rise to the top of some pods turned out to be a combination of Skat and Goedert.
I hope it continues. The Giants have a fun young squad. I typically don't root for teams other than my Broncos but I like what they have going here. A week from now Denver plays the Giants in what I originally thought was an easy game. This will probably be a good battle.
I agree.
It was obvious to me Skattebo was gonna be good. All of a sudden I'm advancing in about 50% of my best ball teams because I have a ton of Skattebo.
I'm an ASU grad so I do have some inside info.

Lol, what? It's obvious he was going to be good, but we should also sell?
Why would you sell the ascending rookie doing exactly what we want to see in fantasy? Yes, his QB could get injured, he could get injured, the offense could negatively regress, etc. Should I sell Puka for the same concern? His QB had a bad back coming into the season, and Puka has a long history of injuries.
Fantasy is a risky game, and it sucks when the downside hits, which can happen at any point in the season, but you bet on production. And holy hell, has Skattebo been producing.
Daboll is riding Skattebo and Dart and betting his coaching career on it. It really sucks we couldn't see Nabers with Dart this year.
