When the play ended today
chip leader said what he said earlier already that hes willing to give a generous offer for the trophy. The remaining prizepool is around 46k but he mistakenly thought it was 44 but anyway take 44 for simplicity, the deal he gave was him getting 14 and 3 of us getting 10k each.

I rejected the deal. I want to grind and get to 3rd then HU then come back and win. No deal. Let's play.
6k aka finishing fourth would hurt but i felt my chance of third is very high based on the dynamics n how they were playing today and 8300 3rd is not too different from 10k and 11k @ 2nd is similar to 10k. I want that 19 ball!

So…I learned at the bagging after rejecting the deal that this will be how it works.
Positions are the same. 100k, 800k, 200k, me.
I have the button to start day 2.
blinds are 10k/20k.

100k guy is solid and wont gamble with bad hands but he has 2.5 bets which can go in hand 1 if it is blind vs blind and he will be at risk then

800k guy took off after the break when we were 7 handed, keep opening pots and upswung from 300k.

The other 200k player is wild. He kept 3 betting the chip leader and tries to show who has the bigger D, those hands all ended in chops! He had a hand vs when we were 6 handed, he opens AJ64 and i flat w A432ss. Flop KQ7 I have no bdfd, but I get sticky and hope for any card ace through 6 on the turn. Turn was an 8, he bets i call; river 8. he checks, leaving 5k chip behind. Mind you, he has put in two and half bets which is 60k at that time into the pot and he checks!! I thought i had zero fold equity so i checked back. But it was the money bubble. I could have bet his last 5k and see if he makes a sick fold with Ace jack high. So….just to give you an idea what type of player he is.

Now…Do you think I have a good chance to get to heads up?

By fifth hand, I will most likely have 185k.
By ninth hand, I will most likely have 155k.
By thirteenth hand aka the fourth time I have the button, I may have 125k cuz I have folded every single hand so far. 125k is 3 bets.

Hopefully there will be one bust out during the first twelve hands.

When I pick up a good hand, A45P minimum, P = Paint. I need to be ready to go with it. I may or may not play AA5 and AA6. The worst that can happen is I finish 4th. It would suck but playing chicken would suck more. It does not contradict w folding 12 hands in a row if it comes to it.

So now we know wild guy has less chips than me albeit just a big blind. He has to put his big blind in before me too which slightly forces him to play a hand before me to get above me.

Two shorties tangle would benefit me the most and it is likely to occur the second hand of today. Button vs big blind. or the fourth hand of today assuming chip leader doesn't open. Button vs big blind again.

Either one wins is ok. If 100k guy wins, the 200k guy will pick a random hand and go with it surely; and if the 200k guy wins, we are down to 3.

The first two hands allow me to see where the chips are flowing so I get to have more information before I even put any chip into the pot.

I need to be really careful on my defenses. If button opens, I need to defend tighter because I do not want to tangle with chip leader. If sb opens, I need to defend wider. He steals me a lot. But careful, don't bet/call unless I have scoop potential. Also, if me giving him one small bet will change the lead between him and I, I'd rather fold. It's not advised to be the chaser. When there are 4 remaining I need to make sure I am above at least one person, and preferably the guy to my right so I do not Have to gamble.

chip leader made a generous offer that he is willing to strip $1k off his n give each of us $500. I'm ok w that. David brookshire wanted $500 more eventually settled w $750

So chip leader stripped $1250, 500 for me n 750 for him. I am not happy w the fact that i get less. Joe makes the point that David is the best player remaining and I am risking 3700 (12k-8.3) to win maybe 250, laying bad odds. And David saying that "you are friends w my best friend Peter (who i play 8/16 w at rw), and i sold him 20%" got me to agree to the deal.

I am going certifiably insane.

I had 50k in my resorts world account and a 5k chip on me.

I deposited 5k into the account (THIS IS THE DISPUTE!) then I took out a 5k marker and deposited 10k later. It means I have 60k on my account and on the receipt i got it says 60k. However the 60k was written as front money - to be understood that the 5k marker is not paid yet, hence total 60 minus 5 = 55. But I deposited a total of 65k!

Then I took out a total of 25k including 15k just now cuz I am going to bellagio for the 80 game. It means I should have 30k in my account. However since my brain thought I had 60k in my account I was sure I should have 35k left. The crockford cage told me I had 30k left on my account so I went upstairs to get my receipt for the 10k deposit and went back to the crockford cage. The cashier had to call over the graveyard shift manager then eventually the next boss up. They are checking the surveillance camera now since I claim I should have 35k in my account.

I don't know. I am going insane.

But cameras are not going to lie. The boss is going to check the tape and if they do owe me 5k they are not going to lie to me. I incline to believe I am mistaken but that also brings up another question - since I track my results in gambling diligently, my number worked out to be 35 too - but the real number has to be 30k?
