Well scooter, I didn't ask for this "vacation", and I think it's stupid that an (allegedly) functioning country can't figure out to pass a budget. And I also recognize that some people I work with aren't as lucky as I am and need a paycheck. Not to mention those being forced to work without one.And as far as your 3 jobs, you know damn well you do that fluffer work for the love

Me too. Highlight being my aunt-in-law returning to my house after dinner at a restaurant last night to raid my fridge and bag up some sandwich leftovers in plastic wrap to eat at the airport today.
My subi cracked 200k miles about 2 years ago. It has been on its last legs since. I have never owned a new car, they have all been a minimum of 10 years old. All of my vehicles have been subarus. For my recreational needs I really like being able to toss my gear (including skis) in the wagon and just keep em there.
SPC and i have a bunch o trips planned for the winter so instead of a strictly utilitarian vehicle I decided to go with something a little more sporty and fancy to bomb around the mountains in. I picked up a new audi wagon. Like that guy said during the Tessler infomercial, "It's all computer"!!
I most likely will need to get significant tutoring in order to be able to use it proper.
I survived a pretty serious invasion myself over the weekend. Yesterday was my grandmother's 105th birthday and we had a pretty huge party at my house on Saturday. The last out of towner left this morning and now the only decision left to make is whether to nap now or later.
