a lot of aps don't even check the high denoms because they aren't rolled for it i wouldn't even bother considering a $50 frank play unless i had 5k+ on site

If he is playing $15/spin regularly, he is guaranteed to go broke off a $5k roll. That's only 333 bets. It is possible to go down 300 bets on a single play, especially on a high variance longrun game like Phoenix Link or Buffalo Link. These Frankenstein plays that is Trooper is posting are also clearly -EV, so he will lose a lot more than $5k playing them in the longrun.

Yeah great example. Trooper would make a hell of a lot more money from his channel if he just posted good slot degen content on the regular like Brettski does. He had the advantage of already having a dedicated subscriber base, the hardest part is the start of a new channel when you are trying to break through and get subscribers.
If he just concentrated on growing his channel he would eventually make many times more from ad revenue and other streams than he is currently making from the AP thing. Not to mention it would be a hell of a lot more enjoyable for them too. I can't think of a more miserable way to make money than grinding AP slots full time.

Whilst all this is true....Brettski also has quite a fun personality and is likeable which makes his content resonate with a lot more people. Trooper is now a grumpy old man yelling at clouds. Even at his peak Trooper would only appeal to a more niche audience. At no point in time has he had a fraction of the charisma of Brettski.
Comparing Trooper to Brettski is laughable. Brettski has Robbie. A multi-gazillionaire who bankrolls him and caters to Brettski’s every need. Trooper has Lady Trooper, who is nothing more than an enabler, and is as poor and lazy as he is..

Omg,det battle he had with himself at the airport regarding the much earlier Southwest flight was worth the whole video on itself.
Rice had been on his feet roaming around in Fresno for like 15 hours,he have been awake for almost 24 hours. He is dead tired,and you can really tell he wants to take that earlier flight,save some hours and get to bed in Vegas alot faster.
But the ticket costs $299,and Rice just cant make himself to do that kind of splurge. He really wants to,says he would pay like $125 but anymore than that he cant. Says he havent paid $299 for a plane ticket in his whole life. This is spot on. The guys who make it on YouTube -- the Neeme's, Owen's, Marianos . . . In addition to posting fairly interesting content, they are generally likable guys. When's the last time Neeme was negative on video? Pooper's tough guy persona just makes him hard to root for. And thing is, I don;t thing he's really like that in real life. The times I met him (years ago), he was a really chill guy and easy to like. But if he's gonna be a tough guy with his guns. . . . or the cooler than you guy with his boosted board . . . or the conservative warrior with his political tweets . . . then this is what he gets. Or, the be Abby and talk in fancy poker terms, his range is capped . . .

I mean you kind of misses the point. Like,i might as well would have waited and saved the 299 i am not really sure before i am finding myself in that situation.
The funny stuff is the internal battles Rice always have with himself everytime its about spending money. He is sitting at the casino looking at the resturant menu,and i can guarantee you he is hungry. But because its $15 or $18 for a dish,instead of his standard $10.99 at Panda Express or whatever he just cant bring himself to buy.

I would also not spend $300 to save two hours. Go the bar and have some drinks. Relax. Enjoy life. Or get a decent dinner. You can kill two hours at a airport easy and enjoyably.
