Insufferable Isabel?

So what? Living in the world means having to deal with dogs.

Dogs, death, and taxes.

There is no right to not have dogs around.

Yes, there is. The business has a right to not allow dogs. You think you're special and ignore the signs and wonder why the owners/employees think you're a douchebag.

As you found out, if you take your dog to areas where dogs are permitted, no one gives a chit.

Dogs, death, and taxes was a decent rage bait attempt, though.

It is my first 14er and yes I summited.I had tried to do Mt Shavano in 2016 or 2017 and made it to like 13,600* and I got to a ridge before the top and the wind was awful and I decided that it wasn't worth it. Learning now that there is always going to be some awful wind and that you just behave to accept that What also helped was that I was hiking along with other people. I'm

Awesome. Someday I'd like to summit Shasta, which is the same height but much worse and I'm just not prepared. But some day.

Wow yeah Shasta is only 11 miles round trip which isn't bad but it's 7300 ft of elevation gain which is pretty hardcore.

I feel like you guys are so close to joining my side of β€˜mockery over debate’

So. So. So very close

Rather than choosing between mockery or debate. why not choose between debating or not debating? no need to make a mockery of someone.

I think the dog pictures are great, but I have had bad experiences a couple times with people who superficially love animals but treat people badly. I’m more interested in how people treat service workers.

You should probably post pictures of people and their interactions with service workers it sounds like.

Nah, you just telling us about your experiences with workers that tell you 'no' and people who don't appreciate your mutt rolling up on them in leashed areas is good enough.

When did I ever say I was rude to someone in one of these situations?

Off leash dog on the mountain > Open carrying on the mountain, I guess, as long as you pack out the poop

I just watched my neighbor, 2 doors down, walk her dog across the street so it could poop in that yard. There was no doubt that her intention was to get the dog to poop there since she stood in the middle of their yard waiting for it to do so. Granted, she cleaned the poop up, but damn.

Never as far as I know or remember

I was politely inviting you to tell a story about being kind to service workers. I like to hear those kinds of stories.

You have never said that. However, I believe you lack the self-awareness to recognize when you are being rude. Why? Because ignoring leash laws and posted rules of private businesses is what rude, entitled fukktards do.

It's like when douchetards walk into a store with a 1911 on their hip with a "no firearms allowed" sign posted. Then when confronted by an employee, say something like, "Hey, bro, I have a handbasket so I just need to pick up a few items and I'll be out of here."

Ok maybe we just relax a bit…

I'd just like to point out that Cap'n Crunch's full name is Captain Horatio Magellan Crunch.

I used the self-checkout at the kroger brand store today and they still have an employee who is monitoring to make sure that you're actually paying for all of your stuff and usually they acknowledge you and say something like "have a good day" or something and this guy today just ignored me. So I'm negative on service workers now and don't expect to be to nice to any of them for some time to come.

that is very dissapointing. my real dating profile says that I like guys who are nice to animals and service workers. I still like pictures of dogs, and guys who like dogs but due to personal experienceI find kindness to service workers much more indicative of actually being a great guy.
I also went to a mountain. I was forced to go by lesbians. I had no choice. here are some pictures. i β€œsummitted”a 3000 foot hill and also went into caves. Luckbox, why do lesbians and straight guys want to go into caves? here is an actual picture from four days ago.

Very cool. Is that in Kentucky? And I wish I knew...I've only barely ever gone spelunking with lesbians.

thanks. i went the whole last week hanging out with lesbians as one of my close cousins is a lesbian. This was in what i consider a scary town in western virginia. not west virginia but on the border of virginia and west virginia. on the right is my cousin and on the left is her new wife from the area.
my cousin like me, is a really good person. her wife has a phd. they gave been VERY kind to me even though we agree on almost nothing.

I really like caves and have explored many of them across the Us. It’d be a dream to ever get access to Lascaux!

Not sure what this means for me…

I had a lot of fun, and the entirety of my week was very vacationey and also very sapphic. I think Luckbox wouldve really enjoyed it. Absolutely nothing that happened to me this week was my choice but not oppossed or anything.

I did a one page report on him in I think 3rd grade - learned all about his ship, the SS Guppy as he sailed the milky seas.

He used to fire his crunch cannon to fight sogginess but I never really understood how that actually defeated sogginess.

Is it okay to point out how absurd it is to plan to not be cordial to service workers because some dude didn't wish him a good day when he left the grocery store today, or would that be encroaching on his safe space?

Chit, a cashier on autopilot stole my change the other day, and I told her to have a good night and just laughed about it when I got outside.
