In fairness a fairly large number of non Jews were murdered/captured by Palestinians on 10/7. Especially Thai farm workers. 46 were murdered and another 23 captured.

One of the most viral moments from 10/7 was Hamas recording themselves and proudly broadcasting beating a Thai worker to death while chanting "Allah Akbar" in ecstasy.

Hamas actually negotiated releases for the living Thai's early in the conflict, and I remember Israel offering them permanent residency in Israel, although I dont know the exact details or how many took up the offer.

Well, Israel probably used much more bombs than Russia, but that is because a lot of the bombs were dropped sequentially in the same place in an attempt to collapse fortified underground tunnels. What the US did to attempt to destroy the underground nuclear bunkers in Iran is what Israel has been doing in Gaza.

Obviously, if the goal was just to level Gaza or inflict large casualties, Israel could have achieved this with 1/10 the arsenal they used. But their goal was to destroy fortified underground structures, so they used a tremendous amount of targeted firepower with minimal loss of life.

Trolly’s post confirmed that it was a stupid metric. Also the strength of nuclear bombs is measured by energy/weight. Saying “ten nuclear bombs worth” doesn’t specify how big the bomb is or how much energy is being expended. Ten nuclear bombs can be incredibly weak or incredibly powerful.

anyone know why there's a huge disparity between men and women killed on oct 7? i was researching and i was surprised it was so many more men then women. Did they take more women hostage? did some go missing or were they actually spared more often. 420 women to 800 men is the number ive found.
