Wow Habs are unreal.
Caufield is a magician.

I saw another drama-filled game, and I'm somewhat interested in all the young guys on the team this year.

Hutson is a magician.

Makes a blocker save then perfect outlet to Gole all in one motion. You could make an argument there are several magicians on the team though.

So skinner gives away the first game and Bouchard gives away last nights game.

I really do not see Bouchard on the Olympic Team

Typical Oilers start

That's good. I don't think anyone else ever did either.

I've hated the habs since I knew what hockey was. But I am going to see the habs next week and am looking forward to seeing Caulfield and Hutson live.

Rumor around Kings land is Kempe is close to signing a big deal.

We are about 5 months from the general realization that the Kings need another rebuild. Hopefully Denault and Doughty(with retention) get a return at the deadline. Kopi probably doesn't move and exits to Slovenia.

Of course Kings will insist they are 'contenders' and take on more bad contracts

Do you think they are a better team than last year? I look at the Leafs and Oilers and see no improvement

Habs fans talking about bringing Danault back. Wonder what he'd cost.

The Oilers? No they aren't a better team than last year. They'll go as far as Mcdavid and Leon can carry them. Hard to improve when you have Skinner, Nurse and Bouchard anchoring your back end.

Leafs are neutral, all depends on how big of a step Knies and the young players take.

Time for some hockey season Fun Facts:

What team holds the regular season wins record over the last 30 years?

Spoiler
Show

1. Dallas Stars - 1221 wins

2. Colorado Avalanche - 1214 wins

3. Detroit Red Wings - 1208 wins

No other team has more than 1200 wins.

And the Stars have only had 1 losing season in the last 28 years coming in 2016-2017 season at 34-37-11. Although they were 22-22-4 in the strike shortened season of 2012-2013, but not a losing record.

I would boo that, but he bought a hockey card from me, lol.

Habs rolling

is it the stars?

otherwise i'd probably say the devils or avs or lightning or something idk

Woot!

3 out of 4 correct

Tavares with point number 500 with the Leafs!

I don't know what Malkin did in the offseason, blood transfusions, adrenachrome drip in the locker room, etc....but whatever it is it's working. He hasn't skated like this since the back to back cups.

Rough night for most of our teams.

Rough night for most of our teams.

Vegas looking good with the addition of Marner .

bouchard was like 4th in the league among dmen last season with 57.91% 5v5 xg. this season his xg is 57.24%

he is firmly in "the pettersson zone" with these narratives about him lately. is he perfect? obviously not. but he's a really good puck-mover, who yes benefits from playing a significant amount of time with mcdrai, though they also benefit from playing with him and ekholm.

anyway, i can't wait until he's left off the olympic team for no reason in favour of some good rep bum who hasn't been any good in 5+ years

Oh no question Bouchard is a offensive weapon the problem is on defense. Its an early sample size on the Oilers. Lets wait till we have 20 games under our belt

Pietrangelo definitely won’t be there.

It's been 2 games of penalty killing. Ridiculous.
