The way he says 'now' has a kitchen without explaining why there wasn't one previously is very strange. Another case of lying by omission from our clown in chief.

The peppers and onions he is cooking look properly disgusting as you would expect from him. The pork chops actually look half decent and are seasoned. Will give him some credit for those!

Its signature Rice absolutely. I cant put my finger on exactly what is smelling fishy yet,but to be perfectly honest i think it possobly can be several different things.

Considering how easily he is whipping out lies its possible the kitchen scene in todays video isnt even filmed at the permanent adress. The kitchen scene with the pork chops is something he easily could have filmed at an earlier airbnb apartment/house stay, and just decided to edit it into todays vlog.

There is nothing besides what Rice says and what he claims that connects this kitchen to his perma adress. We dont see the whole cooking process,we dont see him actually eating the meal he claims he just cooked at his bedroom,we dont see him walking between the bedroom and the kitchen due to the editing++.

Yeah I was also thinking it's possible that the kitchen isn't part of the permanent address and is filmed somewhere else

His 'room' certainly looks like it could be some sort of container that is not intended to be lived in which obviously wouldn't have cooking facilities

As a separate point one thing that doesn't get pointed out enough is how bad and lazy the graphics are in his videos. Whenever he types anything the cursor is on display at the end of the text. I'm sure that isn't a stylistic choice but simply that Rice doesn't know how to hide the cursor in whatever program he is using

by rickroll m

whenever he pops up into my youtube shorts i just find it intolerably badidk how to describe it, but it just feels so pretentiously smarmy i can't stand himhungry horse (yes it's all promo vids for coaching but still good stuff), gazzyb, & slow poker are the only vlogs i can toleratehowever, i did watch that boski one that was shared recently and i gotta say, he puts together g

The weird thing is Boski one timed the 3 way all in at stakes way bigger than he's used to, and then basically left bc he wasn't comfortable playing so big. You'd think if he was that stressed over the stakes he'd go twice.

Any interaction Rice has with anyone leads him to conclude that the person must watch his videos. Some guy innocently asked him when he came back to the table if it was cold outside, and that apparently means he must watch the videos because why else would he assume that Rice went outside. Rice reasons that he could of just gone to the pizza place and decided not to get something. He must think that everyone in the world watches his videos. Maybe he doesn't realise that it's the same 1000 people watching his videos every day lol

It's also hilarious how he talks about the weight room. He never just says he is going for a workout like a normal person, except for one time he mentioned doing some stretching lol. Today he made a big deal going on and on about walking back to MGM after his shift at PH to get his car and then park it at Harrahs so he can go to the weight room before going back to the permanent address to sleep. His last sentence about it was "and then I'll drive back to the address after I'm in the weight room." It's so obvious by his wording that he is being as vague as humanly possible. Everyone knows he is going there to shower after work yet he still continues with the hilarious charade.

Regarding Rice's pork chops, he mentioned recently that friends were in town and they had a barbecue. (Odd that he didn't show any footage of it.) Likely they gave him a few extra porkchops to cook later. Possibly the cooking in today's video took place at the friend's airbnb.

4 pork chops (even though "thin" as he pointed out) seems like a very large meal.

I guess nobody is going to mention in Rice's cooking scene that he was using real plates, that weren't made out of paper, and pots and pans. Where did that come from? Friend's AirBnb theory holds weight.

Notice you didn't see Rice eating. All the other times, Rice includes a shot of him popping his gastronomic disasters into his mouth with a smug grin on his face.

by Petrucci m

I mean $202 is close to lifechanging money for an ultra tightwad like Rice. But for a big talk all boasting about destroying slots on a daily basis like the Trooper, these kind of numbers is a joke.

It’s precisely why the $6k in a month is a bullshit spreadsheet. Dude is broke.

Good observation, this theory could very well be a bullseye here[emoji457]

If I am not mistaken, videos that fall below a certain number of views aren't monetized? I seem to recall that it was something like 1,000 views? I also seem to recall that there was an exception for certain specialty videos such as investment videos?

IF Rice gets 1,000 views, how many of those are actual humans that WANT to watch his videos? That is, I've heard that there is AI along with robots on the interwebs, and of course, you've got people who accidentally click OR who are directed to Rice's video from other poker videos and then immediately leave the video when they see it's high production quality.

IF Rice loses his gold status AND if he were to lose YouTube money, I think that would possibly cause a breakdown.

Finally, think of this. Rice is absolutely CRUSHING IT!

If Rice were not able to play poker & YouTube, he would probably be unloading trucks for UPS on the midnight shift. The man is doing about the best that he can with his limited resources.

OR think of this, if Rice were born 150 or 250 years ago, he would be lucky to be cleaning out stables or herding sheep. Rice was born at the right time in history! That is for sure.

The guys unloading trucks at UPS on the midnight shift get PAID, have health insurance, and benefits like paid holidays and vacation days.

UPS stock currently has a dividend yield of 7.54% and they recently beat earnings per share estimates by 8%.

I don't know what kind of employee stock ownership plan or 401K options they have, but workers recently unionized so there must be some kind of pension plan.

Rice could really be missing the boat puttering around with youtube revenue and avoiding resort fees.

Could be the Rice method.

It's possible he was technically up 6k in that time while hitting the buttons. But the bulk of that 6k came from high dollar spins where he called someone when he found a high number at a high denomination on PL. Trooper gets some small finders fee and the play goes on his card for comps.

He thinks he's in with sharp people but he's basically a sober version of the meth heads on the strip who hunt plays and sell them for a small piece of the action.

None of the people he sells to of course would play the garbage like the Frankenstein play he posted. But yea if Timmy calls them with some crazy high number on PL or BL at a high denomination they'll come out with the money.

I did not find her attractive but to each their own, she had dyed blue hair, bit over weight.

The one time I saw him playing at Aria he and what had to be this same chick were sitting next to each other at the table chatting it up the whole time. They cashed out at the same time but I didn't see if they actually left together.

Today Skater Nomad attempts to sell the Subaru for $1200 and a Doordash couple negotiates it down to $600. But then Skater Nomad reports he used to work at Doordash and Uber Eats and ends up giving it away to a Doordash couple in Florida in solidarity with fellow Dashers. They will use the money they otherwise would have paid for the vehicle to get it fixed and oil leaks repaired.

Skater Nomad then rents a convertible Mustang and then does a parking garage scene with his convertible at the Hard Rock parking garage. He will surprise Hannah with the convertible Mustang at the airport instead of the Subaru.

ELD complains about MGM hiring "parking experts" who are not parking experts who wear reflective vests and put up cones.

ELD states MGM should charge more for parking and not hire parking staff.

ELD states MGM did not ask him for advice.

ELD needs 19 more hours.

ELD states Alanis Morrisette concert caused chaos at MGM parking garage. People who listen to Alanis Morrisette are not good drivers.

ELD explains he drives from MGM to Harrah's because the monorail is not in operation the late hours he is finished with the weight room after PH.

Is there a leaked sex tape? Asking for a friend.

You make several VERY good points, and I made a hasty mistake.

UPS & Fed-Ex are probably "major league" and are unionized & good to work for. It is questionable if Rice would be able to get a job like that.

Many years ago, I worked a night unloading job for RPS during the summer. That was incredibly laborious & difficult job. It paid better than average, but I earned my money for sure!

So I would posit that Rice would be working at a smaller, non-union, truck unloading job. I would probably rather be doing what Rice is doing (making $6/hour playing 1/2 and dealing a few months a year & rolling around) as opposed to unloading trailers at night for $14/hour with few benefits.

I am also surprised that UPS is yielding as much as it is. I'll have to take a deeper look at the financials to see IF they can maintain that. That is a great yield for a name as big as USP is.

He used to tell people not to be poker pros, even though his vlog was about doing what you want to do and avoiding working for the man.

Now he tells people not to do what he is doing today.

But he can do all this stuff because he thinks he is so smart.

If Rice is honest about his tiny wins and losses, he's not really playing poker, a game of information, at all. He constantly remarks about being bored while whittling away his hours needed for tier status. This suggests he's not paying attention to the game at all. He should be looking to exploit his ultra-tight image by entering just slightly more pots (as the aggressor) and then bluffing if he doesn't hit. Of course it would require him to observe his opponents and how they play post-flop, rather than getting wrapped up in things like hands/hour dealt; rake/tips/hour, average pot size over a months-long period and all the other minutiae that fascinate him. He's also likely getting bluffed off decent but non-nutted hands by any semi-conscious opponent. Who among us would not love a chance to bluff him? I know I would.

Speaking of the Trooper,do we have any scouting reports on TT? We know it have been pretty dead for a long while, but how often does it get up and running these days like once a month?

His YT income cant be close to what is once was either, same thing with merch sales.

The conclusion is that our tough guy barely has any steady income at all as of late. Lady Y has to be a real sugarmoma,i mean she has to be basically paying for 90 percent of life expences for two persons.

Correct analysis imo. He surely isnt playing poker,as his biggest goal at the table is to avoid any negative swings possible. As ive wrote about before in this thread,he is not playing to win but not to lose.

Every semi competent player knows this is not possible if you wanna have a winrate. If you wanna have sessions where you win 5 buyins, you are gonna have sessions where you lose 5 buyins as well when negative variance hit.

What you describe is why Rice was forced to stop "playing poker fulltime",and start dealing. His winrate totally dried up.

by Petrucci m

Correct analysis imo. He surely isnt playing poker,as his biggest goal at the table is to avoid any negative swings possible. As ive wrote about before in this thread,he is not playing to win but not to lose. He is sitting there waiting for AA,or to flop a set for $3 limp and win a baby pot cause nobody is paying him off. He has even said in a video that he didnt want to 3 bet

Correct.
Insurance in life and in poker costs money. When you want to reduce your variance you pay for it one way or another.

It's fine for some break even hobbyist to want to reduce his variance. He's playing for fun and big losses aren't fun.

But most winning players/pros look at variance wrong.

If variance didnt exist poker wouldn't exist.

Embrace the variance and you make a lot more money in the long run.

Rice is declaring he has a kitchen at the permanent adress now, very interesting that it popped up after like 3 months of living there.
the suddenly available kitchen

I think the kitchen has just been installed.
For a flop house kitchen, that is a nice and clean kitchen.

that's because he's a tough hustler. not a job for a normal everyday Joe

This would make sense but if this was the case we would expect full tour style videos from Rice where he shows it off in detail. The absence of this is what arouses suspicion

He's just trying to "protect his spot". The more APers, the harder it will be to find plays with his "syndicate".
