I should post this in the Great OOTdoors thread, but whatever. Just spent a couple of weeks living out of a carry on - only one serious delay but I believe that was weather related.
A smart thing I did was add a one day excursion back to Ogden to catch the annual bison round-up on Antelope Island this past Saturday. I wasn’t sure I could make it work, but I pulled it off. It was an amazing spectacle. I’m a severely handicapped photographer and the few pictures I took suck but here are a couple anyway.
I was closer than the pictures suggest. I suck, ok.
One of the riders I spoke to after said they brought in about 400.

I swear, we're not the same person. I was at the formerly National Bison Range, now CSKT Bison Range. Highly recommended if you've got a couple of hours to kill.
Interestingly, I was also in Ogden this weekend, though I didn't know about the bison roundup. Just hunting out potential retirement locations.
