Netflix "Watch Instantly"
I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream
The book was better (god I love saying that). I think it is one of his best books.
That being said I really enjoyed the movie as well. I’d say the book is excellent, and the movie is great.
I didn’t enjoy the running man nearly as much by King. Curious how the upcoming movie is in comparison.

I think the Silo TV show is better than the books. It's a better, more thought-out story.
There has been more than a few solid sci/fi movies/shows in which the books had great premises but mediocre writing.
In most other genres, though, I tend to agree that the book is usually better
Agreed, especially Stephen King books. Shawshank and Green Mile were the best adaptations of his, and close to just as good.
House of Dynamite is 2 hours of my life I'll never get back, made sadder by the fact it was actually an uninteresting 40 minute movie told 3 different uninteresting ways. I will say it is a masterclass in Netflix making a "blockbuster" on a shoestring budget.

Not a movie but Physical Asia has been a great watch. Koreans are so good at producing survivor games.

gotta rewatch all seasons of stranger things to remember it, but its 5 friggin seasons.. thats gonna take me months..

Same here. There was much hype and I forced mself through season one and never understood the allure?

It was complete trash. I love movies like this so I was very let down. They made the President in this movie look like and in over his head panicking idiot. They made everybody in government look unprepared and scared. I pray that those running our national security team are more prepared and professional. I saw it got pretty good reviews so I'm happy to see a couple of you in here who agree with my take.
I can see why some people might have been put off Stranger Things if they only saw the first season. The show does get progressively more mature and darker as it goes on.
