NL10 to the high stakes end boss
Hey, I started like 2 threads before but always ended up tilting everything away. Now I started playing poker after a long break.
PS is out of my country so I will be playing on coinpoker + maybe ggpoker. Mainly cash games, I may play some MTTs.
I deposited 29 USD, now I'm sitting at 177 USD. The graph doesn't show everything because I started using hand2note and I played 1.7k hands with it.
I will be using a bankroll managment when I get to nl25. I will try to keep it going.
Here's the graph:

Wish me luck. 😃
GL
Thx.
Played today 2 sessions, 1.1k hands overall and we're up a bit.
I was bricking a lot throught the first parts of the session, few bluffs didn't go through but at the end everything turned and we're up + 4.75 USD from rakeback.
Current bankroll: 189.65 USD
Graph:

1 hand from the session:
EP opens, I bet with KQo. I'm not sure if my sizing is correct on the flop. I think I should have sized up.
I bet on the turn since we have Kd, we block a lot of goods T, J combos and we can bluff on the river or we can improve.
On the river I decided to jam but I'm not sure if it's the correct play. I think I should check here overall but villain is a nit so I wanted to put pressure on him.
Next time I will post graph from the sessions and overall graph maybe at the and of the week.
Hi, a little update.
So I played 3 or 4 sessions, I don't remember exactly, in general played around 3k hands. So far it's going great.
I keep trying to think about spots I'm in even if they're an 'easy call'. I requested to get hand history from coinpoker and they gave me the history before I installed hand2note.
I don't blindly try to follow theory which I did with my few tries before. 'I have to call here' when a guy is a massive nit knowing that I'm gonna lose. Same with thinking that no one bluffs, they always have aces when they 4 bet, I stopped thinking like that. 😃
Still trying to see how to keep updating the thread. If I should post a graph of every session or post a general graph like I'm doing now and I thought there was a converter to post hands on this forum but can't find it somehow.
Bankroll: 240.94 USD + 231 CHP which is like 13 dollars so it's 254 USD.

1 hand:
I open 85cc from SB, BB defends.
BB bets 1/2p, I check raise. Not sure how good it is in theory but I think it's mostly doing that since we have a lot equity?
He calls, I bet 3/4 on the turn, he calls and I jam on the river.
A little update:
I was sick lately and didn't want to play poker at all so not a lot of hands. I'm during a 10 buy-in downswing but today's session was very good, won over like 4 buy-ins.
I didn't tilt away a single buy-in so I'm kinda proud of myself. 😃
Today I started check-raising more, I usually played more calls but it looks like I'm gonna do more of it.
Stats:

Graph:

Last session's graph:

1 hand from the session:
I open from SB, BB calls.
Flop goes x/x, on the turn I check and villain bets 2.5bb. I check on the river, villain bets and I decided to check-raise.
I'm not sure if it's a good play in theory but I liked how I played. I wanted him to fold a J but he tanked and called. :/
Current bankroll: 236.76 USD + I will get a rakeback from CHP on Monday. So probably around 250 USD.
Hey,
Played a bit yesterdayy and today. I will try posting graphs and hands everyday,. Nothing really much happening, had a 10 but in downswing but we're back.
I have to request hands from coinpoker becasue I'm not sure if hand2note tracked everything to be honest.
Today's graph:

Overall graph:

BR: 289.94 USD
Update:
Played today 2 sessions, 1.6k hands in total. Quite good sessions, felt good af today. Overall a normal sesh, nothing special.

Today's graph:

Hand of the session:

Tried to run a bluff but it didn't work out. Another time I would have bet smaller but I wanted more fold equity. Hearts are not good but I'm not gonna check back king high here.
Maybe it would be better to bluff with a Qx since we do have a bit of showdown with the K but I like this play to be honest. Probably not good in theory but whatever. 😃
BR: 341.49 USD
Edit: Just noticed that a session from yesterday was included by h2n, so played like 1.2k hands
Another day, another update.
Very good session, played 6 tables todayy and I took a shot at nl25 which went good, won over a buy-in. 5 tables of nl10 and 1 table of nl25.

BR: 417.22 USD
Hand of the session:

I don't like the jam on the river. Overall I like that I went aggresive on the river like that but x jam over an overbet is terrible. If there was the same scenario and the bet was 3/4 by the villain, I would jammed and I would be way more happy with the play. I overplayed this hand af.
So I started taking shots at nl25, first I added 1 table and now I added a 2nd table. So I'm playing 4 nl10 and 2 nl25 tables.
So far it's going great overall, midnight's session been a bit rocky since I was missing boards all over and people were calling me lightly and played a bit today as well. Overall, we're in the green, so that's good.
I'm gonna be posting overall graphs on Sundays.

BR: 554.14 USD
Hand 1:

vs limpers I raise very wide
Hand 2:

Theory wise probably not a good play since we're not representing much on the river but villain is a passive player so I wanted to maximize my fold equity.
A few thouands hands later.
Didn't post anything, don't know why to be honest. Basically it's going great, played 32k hands in general so far.
I deposited 115 USD because there's a cyber stacks event and you can get free cash from a bot who visits the tables + 100% bonus from deposit. It's an opportunity to grow the bankroll even more.
BR: 737.42 USD

Hand 1:

Called a guy who 3-bets pretty wide so I'm assuming squeezing is gonna be as well + small sizing. On the river I decided to jam to fold out basically Qx and overpairs.
Hand 2:

Some head-up action.
Hey,
Another Sunday. Today I played 2 sessions and it was crazy to say the least. Coolers, always running into a top range.
Still, I managed to stay on my A game, didn't tilt one buy-in, I almost managed to break even. Over a year ago, I would tilt a lot of buy-ins away. xD

Today's graph:

BR: 751.25 USD
Update:
Played 1k hands today, just a normal session, nothing special.
Something is wrong with the hand2note, it's showing me that I lost and won at the same time xD. I'm up in general.
I wanted to post a nice bluff but like I said, something is wrong with h2n and I can't even find this hand somehow.

BR: 794 USD
Weekly update.
Past few days been quite bad. Card dead, running into coolers / bad beats, especially today. Today's session was the worst. In general it's not that bad cause I didn't lose that much.
Good news is that I won a freeroll from bencb, 166 USD. I was playing tables and a mtt from ben popped up and I didn't even know about it. Shout out to bencb. 😃
Something is wrong with hand2note, don't know what exactly. After 200k hands I will probably change to another hud, I will see.

"NL10 to the high stakes end boss" refers to the journey of a poker player climbing the stakes from NL10 ($10 No-Limit Hold'em cash games), considered a micro-stakes level, to the highest possible levels of play, where top professionals compete for significant amounts of money Another update and I have to move down to nl10. It's just too funny what the **** is going on here. It's always the same thing when I try to ..At monkey type both stakes there are a lot of aggro maniacs spewing off stacks. There are no decent regs at either stakes as anyone decent moves up quickly. with a lot of weak regulars and several recreational players. However, you will encounter quite a few decent to good players as well at 10NL who know what they are doing. The rank of the cards used in all types of poker other than low poker, for the determination of winning hands, in order of highest to lowest rank, shall be:
I’d suggest table selecting a bit better.
JJ there I think you should bomb turn.
