That is a very nice feature. I try not to reach more than 5-10 spots for QB, especially when my next pick is that close to ADP. I also try to protect myself by almost always giving myself multiple outs. It doesn't always work out, though. I just finished a BBM slow with Bryce, AR, Darnold, and Dart, without Darnold/Dart stacked, so that team is dead lol.Bryce, AR, Darnold,

Or maybe not haha. Just came across this team that finished on 6/1, because I searched my advance rate with Bowers. The bad is that I'm only advancing 6/93 when the baseline is 17.4. The good is that 3 of those 6 are in BBM, including this team.

I actually don't hate this team at all, even without much stacking and originally thinking I was close to dead at QB. It might be my only 4 QB team in nonSF for the whole draft season. I'm glad I didn't end up with Shough. I was one pick away from Dimes then had to pivot to Dart as I was sniped on Dimes, which doesn't seem bad now. Team would actually be pretty crazy if I had Dimes instead of AR with the other 3. 1.08 Gibbs. I did pick Davante > JSN, so that kind of hurts. Breece > Cook. Jones > Swift. I guess I wish Golden was another WR, but there were a lot of bad picks made immediately after him.

Obviously hitting on Kraft is keeping me afloat without Bowers, but I think it reinforces my belief that when going elite and stopping at 2 TE, you want your 2nd TE to be from the fringe TE1 range and not mid to late TE2 range. I drafted Kraft as the TE 13 in this room. It looks like I was trying to set up the Love double, as Love went 2 picks ahead of where I took Javonte. I think that probably worked out in my favor.

Other than that, I don't see much else I hate when looking back at the draft board.

Did you do this, Brad? When I said floor games coming for Ferg, I didn't expect 0 lol. Especially in the game environment they had.

Ha!

The guy actually pulled the trade as I was nearly done writing that post. I still felt a bit hesitant, but certainly would have accepted had I known what I was in for yesterday.

I cannot put into words just how much I absolutely ****ing hate Kareem Hunt.

Rashee is who we thought he was.

What a turnaround from last week! 10-0 in my leagues ! (I did play a lot of tanking teams in my dynasty leagues though)

I agree with Heels that this trade is basically even. I normally would side with the rb in half ppr, but I think the downside risk on the dolphins makes Achane slightly risky.

I very slightly lean Achane/Rice side but I don’t feel strongly about it at all. I would just go with your gut here since there’s no right decision

Update on this situation. I made another trade with the same guy after seeing achane and rice go off and egbuka gets 3 catches on 9 targets and Baker suck.

So he tried to trade me Bijan for Mccafrey straight up. And I said "**** no". I countered with Mccafrey and Egbuka for Bijan and Puka and he accepted. So basically I traded Mccafrey, achane, and Rice for Bijan, Njigba, and Puka.

Any thoughts, especially after the initial trade? Pretty ridiculous I know

Oh btw, all 3 of my new guys are past their bye and all 3 of his still have an upcoming bye with Mccafrey's in week 14. If that makes a difference

One more question:

I have Seattle and Denver defense and like the idea of having 2. I picked up Allgerier to backup Bijan, have Q. Johnston, and Love because baker is on bye this week, and nobody else can be released besides Mike Evans.

Godwin just got dropped, should I drop Johnston, or released Evans (we have no IR spot) to pick him up?

Thanks guys. Ill go through and answer others questions to contribute to the thread

Pretty fair trade. Similar to the last one, no strong opinion. Lean slightly to the Bijan side

10x10 dynasty ppr SF TEP (1.5x)

Team that I moved into rebuild mode after Nabers injury is 4-4 (don’t have my own pick so doesn’t matter)

I have an opportunity to buy now as another team that was meant to compete is now 2-6 with some injury problems

I’ve offered what I think is slightly in my favor, how much more would you offer if anything ? Is it dumb to go into buy mode at this point?

I trade 4 1sts (26, 27, 2 28s) + 27 3rd

For

Bijan, London, Tracy

I would have the following team

Qb Lamar + Allen
Rb Bijan, Warren, Tracy, Dowdle, Pollard
Wr London, Pickens, Tmac, Burden, Ridley, Keon (Nabers back next year)
Te Warren, Andrews, Likely

Yeah, I'd say

Bijan = At least 2.5 1sts, probably 3.
London = At least 1.5 1sts, probably 2.
Tracy = 2nd

So I think it's light by probably another 1st, especially since Bijan and London are good pieces to have on a noncompeting team. Villain may not draft 2 guys better than them with those 4 firsts.

I'm also not sure it's enough to get you over the hump, especially with how thin your depth is. You can't rely on Dowdle, Pollard, Burden, Ridley, Keon or the Balt TEs right now.

But Lamar, Allen, Bijan, T. Warren, and the top 3 WRs could cover a lot. And then adding in Jaylen gives you 8 good to great starters, but still 2 short of the full lineup.

You're in a tough spot, and I'm really not sure what to do without seeing the full league. I'm guessing even if you make the deal, there would be at least 2-3 teams that are still stronger.

I agree with jimmy, overall the deal is probably a wash. Scoring and injury variance will decide who wins it, but the bye week dynamic could give you a slight edge.

I would not drop QJ for Godwin. I'm not sure if you should drop Evans for Godwin. No telling when Evans will be back, and I do think Godwin will return before Evans, but who knows what the ROS looks like for either? In a vacuum, I'd probably rather hold Godwin than Evans, but there is a lot of uncertainty with both.

I'm only advancing 5/44 Shough teams, but this one has some serious legs if he can be even close to average. Damn Skattebo injury.

20 of my 44 Shough teams are SF. 4 of them are advancing. The only nonSF advancing is a Pom team that has Dak/Tua.

There’s only 1 tanking team in the league right now (unless this guy takes my trade and moves into tank mode) so talent is spread. Would think I’d be top 3 this year minimum w Tracy too in theory

Next year rb2 probably gets dicey but I get Nabers back

Literally have 0 depth though so I’ll be in trouble from any injury. Maybe need to downgrade one of my QBs to add more picks if I don’t go this route just to give myself more outs

Yeah, that's what's tough. You can make a strong starting lineup if you make the trade, but you're giving up a lot and taking on risk when winning the ship will still take some solid run good, even if this puts you top 3. I suppose that's always the balance. When I trade future firsts, I want to feel very confident that I have a strong chance to ship that season.

You could definitely go the other direction and try to trade the QBs and start the rebuild. You'd like to think Josh and Lamar still have long careers ahead of them, but rushing QBs don't have a great history approaching 30 and beyond. I'd bet on Josh having a longer career than Lamar.

I hate being in the middle haha. I'd rather be confident in tanking or confident in competing.

Speaking of Nabers.

Troy Franklin was the top scoring WR this week.

Sure, until we find out there were second, third and fourth surgeries for 10 different reasons.

Noticed that Trey Benson was available in my yahoo league. No open bench spots, and no one droppable really - so I dropped my kicker to add him and threw him on IR. I'll pick up a new kicker Sunday before games start.

1ppr league would you trade b Thomas wr for bowers
You start 3wr plus a flex
My wr
T Higgins
Rice
Nico
Jsn
Ayuik

My te
Henry and fannin

Yes, that sounds like an amazing trade for you.

On top of that there's a good chance BTJ doesn't suit up this week and that would leave Hunter open to build on his performance vs the Rams putting into question if BTJ is the true No1 for the Jags

RIP Hunter.

by tarheels2222

RIP Hunter.

Hahaha I deserved that after my last post

Gutted

Yeah, it sucks. Non contact practice injury to IR the next day is really not a good sign. It's possible we don't see much of him the rest of this year, which will make gauging his value next season really difficult.

So I'm estimating this as 90% he's done for the year

Sorry for trading you Hunter last week haha
