Just quite ironic that I was barred for this, from, wait for it, the Blind Beggar. You know, the place made famous by Ronnie Kray walking in and shooting someone in the face. So, I am playing pool for 100s a game and some faces show up to play. It's all friendly. I won some, lost some, broke even in the end I think. Maybe up or down a couple of hundred. But they didn't want that sort of action in 2023 apparently.

It's easy for us to forget that the main purpose of this thread is to berate the moderators, not each other.

It's ridiculous what this thread has become. Is there not a low content thread for people to talk nonsense in? This thread should be dedicated to moderation related issues. I remember a time when moderators would redirect the discussion back to strictly moderation talk. What changed? I have a theory. The nonsense talk was introduced and encouraged because a certain moderator was catching a ton of heat at the time. A little "hey look over here" type of maneuver. They knew the lonely guy's would take full advantage of this.
