Jets get two firsts and AD Mitchell. Sounds like a good move for them. No need to have a star corner on a rebuilding team.

AD Mitchell is a negative, having actively cost the Colts a game this year. Fine with the picks as they're this year and next and Sauce just re-signed. Sauce+Moody has to be about the best CB1&2 in the league

lol colts

wtf two 1st round picks + AD Mitchell

awful process

Meh, I'll take him if no one else wants him

Two likely late firsts could be anyone tho, they could even be Sauce!

He's had a sketch start to his career in Indy. He is still a talented young WR going to a team that has nothing outside of Wilson. As a throw in to the deal I think this a positive for the Jets.

Very similar to the Jalen Ramsey to the Rams deal tbh.

Ramsey went for pick 20, pick 25 and then a 4th rounder. At least this year it’s likely the Colts pick will be less valuable than pick 20

Both mid way through yr 4

If you’re arguing for the Colts you say that Sauce already has his contract and has had some of the bonus paid. So he is under contract for 5 more seasons and it’s relatively manageable

And Sauce is younger - only just turned 24 whereas Ramsey had just turned 25. That is very important because CBs really do very often fall off a cliff when the sharpest part of their athleticism diminishes

And that’s why I’d rather trade for a different position if I’m spending super elite trade capital

Still…as with the Rams…it’ll all be fine and worth it if the Colts win a SB

Which RB are the Chiefs gonna get? Chuba? Breece?...Please God no. Achane?....It's over if this happens.

If only they had drafted Taylor over CEH.

The issue with AD is that he doesn't put forth the effort. It's the same problem with AR5. We're seeing more and more that there are guys that are doing everything the can and are stuck in bad spots, and guys that are getting opportunities that just don't give a ****. Mitchell was firmly in the latter camp by all reports, even going back to his time at Texas. Those problems don't tend to just go away.

Jets send William to the Cowboys.

His problems probably won't go away but I would have been happy with just the two first rounders. Maybe a second chance will help AD.

They are getting a second rounder this year and a first rounder next year.

The Jets are stocking up.

NY JEST: all your first round picks belong to us.

so Jets have an extra 1 and an extra 2 in 26 and then 2 extra 1s in 27

given they might be able to grab a QB at the top of this year, they are building some capital.

or...they pick great position players this season with their 1 and 2 and then Colts 1 and potentially the Cowboys 2 if that's top 40 and then they have 3 1s to bring a QB into a hopefully stronger infrastructure

But, also the Jets

No one overrates draft picks more than the NFL. Colts are in win now mode and aren't going to have a high pick. Like 1% chance they would ever get somebody that will be on Sauce's level at basically any position where they will be drafting. Have to get towards a top 5 pick to actually try and match. Plus they got him for 4 years now.

Rams have been pretty successful with their **** them picks strategy. Why speculate when you can get the known? NFL draft is the most overrated thing ever.

But also good for the Jets to blow it up and move on. The Saints are a perfect example of why you should do that and what happens when you don't.

I'm assuming you had absolutely zero intent to be racist at all. but if you think about the history of this saying, it's pretty awful

if it's not clear, it comes from people being forcibly removed from their homes, and having their land stolen, and being forced to live on reservations.

I'm loving this if I'm a Jets fan.

by feel wrath m

Don’t look too hard at the schedule but the Panthers have two winnable games and could be 7-4 in a fortnight
