OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

The Big Mac, Snack wrap, small fries and drink were good.
Time went fast. I even had time to add an apple pie but didn't pull the trigger.
Price was right!
KFC notification says 50 pc nuggets for 20 bucks today? If you have a couple people to feed, seems pretty good
Sonic has fitty cent corn dogs today.

haven't had those in particular, but i can see what you mean. wings can be too big at times.
Got one of these at Carls, XL version of their California Special, their Big Mac knockoff.
Good price too, better value than any of Mickey's or Whopper. Under 6 bucks, which is rare in this town.

Corndog also shrunk. Luckily for my order of burrito and corndog (both fresh out the frier) dude only charged me for one. They know when their product is bull-shizzit.

I gotta tell you, I love a Sonic chocolate cherry coke.
Online advertising worked on me yet again, and I headed to Chipotle for lunch with a plan to try their red chimichurri LTO condiment. Ordered it on the side of a barbacoa quesadilla, with a free rewards chips and guac to boot.
The chimichurri - A) It was so oily, it almost looked like chili crisp in the cup. It almost made me wonder if either I or Chipotle don't actually know what chimichurri is. B) It was aggressively, unpleasantly salty on first bite. Between the oil and the salt, this thing must have been just insanely unhealthy. C) Somehow, after you got past the first salt kick, it was pretty gd delicious. Like, really pleasant umami richness added to the beef/quesadilla and the chips both. I enjoyed the heck out of it, even if each and every bite started with "holy cow this is too salty," before transitioning to "wow that tastes really good."
Chipotle's guac ranges from decent to really good, 85%+ percentile guac - today was a great, upper end of the range day. Delicious, and free!
I was surprised to get the fajita veggies on the side instead of in the quesadilla. Eating them that way made me realize, they have to put some sugar on them when they cook them. There's no way onions are that sweet. Cheaters.
All in all was very pleased with the meal and I look forward to having it again, although given I only get there two or three times a year I'm guessing chimichurri will be long gone by the time I"m back. Probably for the best, health wise, but glad I tried it.
