SNAP has been reinstated for November, per a court order.

Not so fast says our illustrious Supreme Court.

Not so fast says our illustrious Supreme Court.

Some states have already begun disbursements.

Are those states suppposed to undisburse?

Same dilemma with tariffs.

Huge difference between voluntarily (Communalism) and compulsory (Communism).

Sure, the communalism is total voluntarily, but if you don't volunteer for the team you'll burn in hell.

Sure, the communalism is total voluntarily, but if you don't volunteer for the team you'll burn in hell.

That's just false.

A believer can choose to live alone without the prospect of Hell.

Well ..... the Trump Administration is going to court in order to try and deny SNAP benefits to needy Americans.

He's literally the antichrist. Jesus tried to feed the poor. Trump tries to starve them.

One wonders how Christians support this guy.

Mass formation psychosis 😀

Well hope follows maga won’t suffered too much of hunger because owning the libs is what politics should be all about .

Republicans voting against their own self interest , not the first time and not the last.

I doubt any of the senators need SNAP they are the ones voting

How does a country 38 trillion in debt have a hunger problem?

What makes you think there's a hunger problem?

31% of Americans are overweight, 42% obese (73% total) in general population

24% SNAP recipients are overweight, 44% are obese (68% total)

Give out free rice, beans and vegetables how many people do you think are showing up?

We are the fattest, most over fed and unhealthy country the world has ever seen.

All the bleeding heart liberals should be sending their money to 3rd world countries to help because they are so caring and such beautiful people.

One wonders how you have so much time to post online when you could be working and sending money to a 3rd world country and singlehandedly improve and save the lives of 20+ people.

Are you overweight, bro (i.e., part of the 73%)?

by Land O Lakes

Probably not quite. I'm 6 ft tall and likely 175-180 pounds, don't have a scale handy. I wouldn't mind losing 10 pounds. However what's the relevance? Even if I was massively obese I don't see how it changes anything I said.

Like the 40 billions trump send to Argentina ?
Yup conservative -> America first !
lol…

I wasn’t talking about the senators .
Maga owned the libs by voting trump at the expense of many benefits they had , as usual …
Hopefully they won’t complaint about not getting money from snap.
It’s what they do !

Height and weight are fairly meaningless without muscle density, but "probably not quite" is a demonstrable yes answer.

by WPNdonk

However what's the relevance Even if I was massively obese I don't see how it changes anything I said.

The relevance is a porker is suggesting that people who can't afford to be porkers should not be given food.

Like, do you personally need to get to the point where you can't afford food for you to lose 20 pounds?

I'm in Philippines now, routinely see people who are clearly starving, calorie and nutrient deficient. Never seen anyone looking like that in the USA besides methheads.

If anyone wants to donate just let me know, I'll match up to $100 total too. Haven't done anything nice in awhile im probably overdue. But I also don't pretend to be a Mother Teresa like the flaming libs. Will of course provide pics/receipts.

Trying to think of how to do it. Could maybe go to a few of the small Sari Sari stores in the poorer areas buy items and hand them out. If I get any donations I'll ask one of my Filipino friends what's the best way to do it to get it to the people most in need. Best of all no administration fees.

I'm sure he'd be down to help me pull this off too, in the poorer areas they often don't know much English and also can be a little bit dangerous for a foreigner as well.

Did I suggest they shouldn't be given food? Give them free healthy food, the US is a wealthy country we can certainly afford that.

And my muscle density is decent. I regularly do push-ups, former athlete etc. You assume because you're a lazy sob everyone is, classic liberal projection. Must be "yes"

You obviously struggle to even understand basic concepts saying height and weight is largely irrelevant.

by WPNdonk

Did I suggest they shouldn't be given food

Yes, that was the implication behind your post, otherwise why even bring it up?

Btw, do you think the 16 million children who rely on SNAP are all obese, too?

by WPNdonk

And my muscle density is decent. I regularly do push-ups, former athlete etc.

Wtf does decent mean? We're looking for as close to objective descriptions as possible. "Decent" is what a skinny-fat guy who does pushups says when he's looking in the mirror.

by WPNdonk

You assume because you're a lazy sob everyone is, classic liberal projection. Must be "yes"

I am lazy, but I managed to put in 108 miles of running in this week and still have a morning run today and maybe do a short 8 miler in the evening to close out the week.

I said it's a yes because anyone who says, "I wouldn't mind losing xx pounds" is always a porker or a skinny-fat with a shitty diet.

by WPNdonk

You obviously struggle to even understand basic concepts saying height and weight is largely irrelevant.

Ronnie Coleman was 285 pounds at 5'11" on stage. Without knowing that his bodyfat was 3%, it would be assumed those numbers mean someone is morbidly obese. You call yourself a "former athlete" yet talk like a potato.

Citation please. Thanks.

There probably are a lot of overweight snap recipients. One reason is cheap food is generally crap food.

by WPNdonk

But I also don't pretend to be a Mother Teresa like the flaming libs.

And that my friends is the Christian vote 😀

by wet work

And that my friends is the Christian vote 😀

That's the dude that wants flaming libs to personally send him money so he can give it to poor people in the Philippines.

Americans aren't fat they're inflamed. Our food is filled with chemicals and metal. Our bodies create fluid barriers to keep those away from our organs. Even fruit/vegetables are sprayed with pesticides. Starting to wonder if humans are the pests.

So you're saying that when I see a 300-pound person, that is just edema? Odd how a DEXA calls it fat tissue (lbs) in the 40-50% range of total weight. Go figure...
