The amazing thing is by all accounts Trooper was a really good dealer.
Trooper WAS a very good dealer. I've played at his and at Diesel's tables. Trooper deals like a pro, Diesel deals like me, and I'm effing terrible.
So to put this into perspective. Fat Zach have said several times through 2025 that he is focusing on losing weight,healthy diet and fitness this year. That would be his main goals for this year.
It actually is not that uncommon for people to regularly go to the gym for months and make little to no progress. A lot of those people either have no idea what they are doing, their diet sucks, their workouts are lazy or combination of those can happen.
On social media we often see the people who do make progress, and often lots of progress if they are on drugs. But there are a lot of people that waste their time in gyms with lazy, pointless workouts.
Didn’t he do some lunges or a similar exercise with very little weight? If his workouts are anything like that then he is just going through the motions and it’s a waste of time. Maybe he burns a few extra calories, but not enough to make a difference and if his diet is bad then it’s expected he would make no noticeable progress.
Of course, this is assuming he actually does some exercises. If he does, he might just do very little and go through the motions, kind of like nitting it up at the poker table. It’s a lazy effort and with a lazy effort you don’t get good results.
Yeah Rice is like the even less successful and much poorer version of Kessler. Rice puts Kessler to shame though when it comes to being the world's biggest NIT; in poker and in life.
Diesel is FAR less successful than Chainsaw. Diesel couldn't mincash a WSOP bracelet event to save his life.
Rice finding some crazy good play and still losing money on it would make the Red Rock massacre meltdown look like nothing.
there's been so many times i've found plays that were absolutely amazing, everything maxed out and still lost hundreds because i had a bottom of the range outcome
Surely Kessler has money which is why he can continue to travel the world as a net loser in poker. He seems to have funds to do what he wants which is more than can be said for any of the whack pack

cannot stand Wolfgang Poker. he's the epitome of YouTube influencer that I hate. everything is about him, clicks, he's the center of the world, funny schtick that is not funny or amusing at all, etc. if he's on screen it's like nails on chalkboard and I tune away

I was watching one of my guilty pleasure TV shows Monday night. There's a scene in India. Large hotel looking building with a big sign on top - it said The Address.
The whole concept of the documentary just does not interest me at all. It's already dumb to treat poker players as celebrities. This just goes further into it.

In the doc, at dinner Lexi mentioned she dated other poker players in the past but settled down with Bob “her silver fox” (23 years her senior). Gee wiz, it’s clear that she’s not a profitable tourney player and the fact that he’s her sugar daddy funding the big buyin mtts throughout the year has a big part of her ongoing adventures. People like her and Abby just want to be “online influencers” and are using their “hobby poker” as an outlet. All the sponsored shilling and inauthentic behavior in their videos prove this. They’re quite the opposite of a Rounders Michael McDermott type pro or Moneymaker that anyone in the late 90s / 2000s poker boom got their start from. Also, Wolfgang and Corey Eyring are the new age “Gen Z influencers” that are super cringe and entitled narcissists, which is also par for the course these days.
