2025 NFL Season Thread: Can Uncle Rico save the Broncos or will they be Nixed?

g-bebe, this may be the first time ever but
I agree completely with your entire ranking. Well done old sport!
Eagles still too high. Offense sucks. Blew a 21-0 lead to the 18th ranked Cowboys.
They'll beat the Browns and they'd probably get in with just one other win, they probably won't be favoured in any of their other games though. Easy enough to just win one of the remaining five and they're currently faves to make it, but it would be funny if they lost out due to their week one loss to McCarthy's only good quarter of football
The Athletic's Power Rankings - Week 13 - *top 12 only*
1 - LAR
2 - DEN
3 - PHI
4 - NE
5 - SEA
6 - IND
7 - GB
8 - DET
9 - BUF
10 - KC
11 - SF
12 - CHI
DVOA has them both extremely close. Top 15 offenses with Top 10 defenses.
I have a feeling Lions are going to beat the Packers on Thanksgiving like a drum.
With Gibbs having an amazing game.
You know they haven't forgotten about week 1. Time to bite off some kneecaps!
First, id like to say i agree with mclovin, your rankings are pretty good this week. But,
Top 10? Like how top 10? I know DVOA is viewed as God around here but this year there's a big difference between 8th and 2nd defensively. There's only maybe three defenses I can say could be looked at as on the same level as Denver. Houston, LAR, and Seattle. But imo, with Surtain healthy Denver is probably best itl.
Id take Phillys offense over them especially without Dobbins but theyve really been uninspiring and Siriani sucks donkey dick

I still like DVOA but it's not pure gospel for me anymore. I think it gushes a bit too hard over blowout wins against bad teams. As always context matters.
Your assessment is spot on. DVOA has the two teams 0.1% off each other in total. Denver's defense (5, behind CLE along with the teams you mentioned) is better than Philly's (8) as much as Philly's offense (10) is better than Denver's (15). They're very evenly matched.
Bills signing Brandin Cooks.
Josh finally gets the WR8 he's been searching for.
New Thread name ideas w/ thanksgiving games in mind?

Ah ok, ive never looked at DVOA, all of my understanding of it comes from you guys. I forgot about Cleveland. Id say
1a. Denver
1b. Houston
2. Cleveland
3. Rams
4. Seattle.
But there all very good, especially top 3. This has been a strange year for offenses imo
Tier 1:
1. Rams. Clearly the best team, 1 game left on their schedule they might lose, #1 seed is a lock
Tier 2:
2. Pats
3. Eagles
4. Lions
5. Boncos
I feel like the lions should probably be 2 but given how brutal their path is gonna be in the playoffs that’s probably a waste
Tier 3:
6. Bills
7. Packers
8. Seapoops
9. Colts
Darnold sucks and I can’t in good conscience give the bills a higher slot regardless of how hypermegaelite Jawsh is
Tier 4:
10. Bears
11. Chefs
12. Texans
13. Niners
14. Jags
15. Chargers
Texans offense is so god damned awful, Bork is pure trash and the Niners are depleted
