Once the premier magician in extending plays and throwing on the move, Rodgers is now one of the worst QBs on dropbacks longer than 2.5 seconds. Only Cam Ward, Joe Flacco and Jaxson Dart have worse success rates on such plays.

- - - -

Amazingly, 66.4% of Rodgers' passing yards have come after the catch, which is second only to 2011 A.J. Feeley in the past 15 years. That's 713 quarterbacking seasons worth of sample!

- - - - -

Goff has been hit on 20.2% of his dropbacks, easily the highest of his Lions tenure.

- - - - -

LJack is clearly not healthy. In his five games back from injury, he has run for 14, 36, 10, 11 and 27 yards -- an average of 19.6 yards per game. His career average before this season was 59.9 yards per game.

- - - - -

Rashod Bateman, whom the Ravens extended on a three-year deal this offseason, has 0.8 yards per route run this season. He has been about as productive as Kalif Raymond, Tyler Lockett, Jamari Thrash and Jahan Dotson.

- - - - -

This season, Mark Andrews is averaging 6.4 yards per target and 9.0 yards per reception; his previous career lows were 7.5 and 11.6, respectively.

I might be reading into that post, but I believe it might be anti Ravens.

IRM is a Bo hater cause hes mad the niners didnt draft him. But I forgive him cause hes been stuck with the likes of Jimmy G, Purdy, and Singletary. Who was that fat Italian guy who was fired after 5 games?

Gbebe, I agree there is definitely something wrong with Lamar but its odd because I watched every play this week and he isnt like noticeably slower. His speed and form looked about right, so its odd.

IRM, Mahomes is still clearly the best player in the game and thats why despite being 6-6 and generally sucking people have not given up on them.

As open of a year we will ever see.

I am surprised Cowboys are only getting 3 points on Thursday. Feels like a lot of Lions disrespect even with ARSB out.

cowboys>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> lions

bet the house

Cowboys Defense early in the year was last or next to last by any analytical metric, only worsted by the Bengals.

3rd down defense at the bye week was the worst in the league with teams converting 53% (NFL avg ~40%) of their 3rd down attempts. Not only was that on pace to be the worst in Cowboys history, but on pace to be the worst in NFL history.

Enter Quinnon Williams (trade from NY Jets) , the phat man in the middle, and Matt Beaverjuice (DC) going to a quasi 5-2 defense to stop the run and the return of DeMarvion Overshown at LB running sideline to sideline to clean up anything that gets past the D-line.

Last 3 games on 3rd down, Raiders 3 for 12, Eagles 5 for 12, Chiefs 5 for 13, small sample but over the last 3 weeks they're at 35% which is top 5 in the league.

Lions will be without LaPorta, ARSB, Kevin Zeitler or Frank Ragnow. Jameson Williams is an over the top deep threat that's going to be asked to do things he's not accustomed to.

If and a Big IF, the Cowboys can keep the Lions run game in check, I lean Cowboys in this game but I'm only betting half my house.

On the flipside; Haven't confirmed but heard on a podcast that Jahmyr Giibbs has 3 of the 4 fastest running speeds this year. He's going to be a problem.

yeah exactly cowboys D was absurdly awful earlier in the year. its much improved.

with their high powered offense, they don't need much defense

not anti-BAL, pro facts

you'll see me post negative stats about CIN as well

this particular article had some eye-opening numbers behind the offensive troubles facing BAL. i left out the King Henry and Flowers numbers

The Eagles are 23rd in points per drive and 27th in offensive success rate. The only offenses that are worse are the Jets, Vikings, Raiders, Titans and Browns.

- - - - -

In 136 games across Allen's career, only six have come without a pass 20-plus yards downfield. Four of those six games have come this season.

- - - - -

Cook has 231 carries and has been stuffed for no gain or a loss only 26 times. Only five backs in the NGS era have had 200-plus carries and a lower stuff rate than Cook; one of the five is his own 2023 season.

- - - - -

14.45: That's Bryce Young's total EPA generated on third and fourth down Sunday. It's the most passing EPA generated on late downs in a game for any quarterback this season.

If Allen doesnt win a superbowl (2.5 should be his O/U in his career) its to be blamed on the Brass for not getting him some really receivers. Its the new Aaron Rodgers. Except you know, Rodgers had Davante Adams, a HOF player

My post was tongue in cheek.

I haven't the ability to look deeply at stats and Lamar hasn't been good, but has felt like we've had more pass protection issues recently than anything. Also some terrible drops. Lamar hasn't been the solution though obviously.

Slam the under on 2.5.

Oh i agree at this point. Im saying if you described what Allen would become to someone the moment he was drafted you'd say just 2 superbowls would be a bit of a letdown if he plays 15 years.

Now that his career is nearly halfway done and his legs will eventually go the Bills should take notice that they are ****ing this up. You need receivers to win superbowls ****heads.

The correct Allen SB market is 1

I think they just suck at identifying good pass catchers.

Kincaid at 25, decent but not great.
Coleman at 33, healthy inactives in year 2.
Samuel 3 years $30 mil, $15 guaranteed.
Elijah Moore, cut
Knox contract extension
Palmer 3 years $36 mil, $15 guaranteed.
Shakir pretty good for a 5th round draft pick.

In theory the trade for Diggs was pretty good until he wore out his welcome. But being results-oriented, the first round pick turned into JJ.

Maybe Brandin Cooks is finally the answer!

At least James Cook has been good.

But don’t you dare question Brandon Beane about drafting top 100 pass catchers!

the Ravens rewarding 30yo Mark Andrews for his worst statistical season to date with another $26m g

maybe it's not the pass catchers that are the problem. maybe it's the pass thrower

Diggs thought so.
