I like it that someone from the old days is still winning at the top level. Probably other people do too and that is part of his value to GG. Definitely, like seeing him and Ivey etc. doing well at NLHE high rollers with all the GTO robots.
Presumably he has some experience and skill at tournament play that some of the young mixed game player do not have.

Yea I didnt mention that because the sim showed he was just a pip off GTO (ATo was showing). Personally I think ATo is a garbage show against humans and Im sure Im correct even without seeing the GTO opening range from UTG. Im sure the GTO jamming range does not allow for any kind of "exploitiative" shove with A9o and its just a pure garbage jam.
They weren't huge mistakes, but they were plays I would question without looking at a solver.
That he does not play perfect GTO does not imply he is a dog in super high rollers. There are poker and tournament skills, such as live reads and playing in ICM-influenced and short stack situations.
There are TV pros like Ivey and several players who came up in the poker boom who do not play perfect GTO, but are probably significantly +EV in these.
He may be a dog in NLHE super high rollers, because he seems to be down in them the last few years, but it could be variance. That is why people here have been claiming he is a losing player. However, GTO "mistakes" do not prove that.

I can't claim to know PLO as well as, well, most other games. However, is this a cooler per se? Q854 double suited strikes me as a middling starting hand, while playing for stacks with bottom two also seems like it's calling off a tad light by PLO standards. (I also don't remember what the stack sizes were.)
