I probably couldn’t beat 1/3nl nowadays especially with $8/9 rake, but have gotten 70k tier credits at mgm Detroit over 2 weekends staying in a suite with food comps, won thousands vulturing and won thousands “collecting” the free play offers months after my last visit.

A lot of slot APs play a ton of junk, degen, don’t know all the games and don’t fully understand the games they do know, much like Trooper. I haven’t been impressed with the Detroit hustlers there’s much tougher competition in California, Colorado and Brokelahoma.

Trooper has shown and talked about some of his slot losses. That regal play wasn’t the worst if he’s trying to generate offers when he’s at a casino he hasn’t been to before but from what he said in his last vlog, his offers aren’t great and he isn’t optimizing pick up lol he forgot he already picked his freeplay at one casino. Using LT’s card when she isn’t there will help too, remember trooper started off not even using a card until we all berated him.

Of course he needs to tighten way up on frank and his “tip” to leave AP machines on the highest denom setting is terrible and scares away customers. It’s funny how trooper trashes campers but adopts the same stupid tactics.

but i found it refreshing, lots of searching, little to find, showing losses etc

and i luckboxed because at one point while skipping i heard him say "i take it at 57 others at 58 and others at 62" and so then i listened to that and he basically said what i'd been assuming - that he never finds good plays

he used a lot of silly strawmen in his argument of "why find 1 62 a month at 7% ev when i can find 10 57s in a day at 2% ev"

he then does the standard variance talk so he seems to be aware of it all

i think his issue is he's dramatically underestimating the gap in ev between those states

been a while since i played an rr (they don't have those in washington) but iirc you could easily go 50+ spins to move the needle from 57 to 62 - with games like this, the rtp is not via line hits but rather through hitting features - so you can very reasonably expect to be down 35 or more units taking those 50 spins

so when you grab the machine at 62 instead of 57, you basically have a 25+ unit cushion - which is insanely good and will make a far more significant difference than the 2% ev vs 7% ev example he gave - idk enough to state anything definitively, nor would i if i did know enough - but my assumption is gap between those numbers is far greater than 2<7

furthermore, it's general consensus that 56 is the break even point on that machine at places with high rtp - so in vegas it's very questionable if a 57 is even positive ev - hence why nobody else took that

i too leave machines at the highest denom - but not "to encourage more coin in" but so i know if anyone has played it since i last checked as that can save me tons of time - others tend to do this as well so it's pretty easy to see if an entire bank has been checked already so i can just skip and move on

As we are well into the last month of the year,i was thinking about the status of the by now legendary Whack Pack.

I havent been following TBC through the years as some of you other posters. Is he officially a member of the pack or what? What do you guys say that have followed him over time and knows what level he operates on?

One thing ive cathed by some posts in here is that it seems like TBC have been able to maintain a $50K+ roll over a pretty long timespan while living on the road? Even though he has dipped under that amount also,i mean that is something the other three Whack Pack members coudnt do in a million years.

TBC has been surviving for, at least, 25 years strictly by gambling. Other than some small gifts from friends and those that feel sorry for him, he does not have any sort of income that the modern day whack pack members enjoy. Ie. poker dealing for Rice, YouTube revenue and a sugar momma for Trooper, a daddy for Pman, etc..

TBC is a gambling cockroach. Everytime his roll gets dangerously low he goes on a miracle heater of good fortune either from poker or various other casino wins and jackpots. It's happened over and over again like clockwork.

I believe he had his roll as high as it's ever been earlier in the year at ~90k but now it's back under 40k. Hilariously he thinks he is under rolled to play PLO or any other game that won't allow him to short stack with $100 buy-ins. For some reason he feels comfortable only with 400+ buy-ins when it comes to poker but he will happily dust off 10k playing online BJ

$40K is a healthy roll as well,although i guess if its liferoll and he lives on the road with poker/gambling as sole income he probably has a huge anxiety for going broke.

LOL at playing in games with $100 buyin with that size of roll. He could play 2/5 NL with $1000 buyin cap,PLO i would be more careful due to massive variance but $500 buyin games is fine. If he drops like 10K in those games he can always move down,and grind it up in what seems to be his bread and butter 1/3 NL.

Keep in mind he is autistic, not like Rain Man but more than any other member of the whack pack.

He buys in for $100 so he can martingale poker, he might end up playing 2/5nl with $1000 on the table by the end of the day if needed. lol

That's why he was pissed off when the poker awards ignored him for the initial poker vlogger award nomination. That's why he's always quick to say that he is the OG poker vlogger and that he created the genre. But when he couldn't cut it playing poker for a living, of course he didn't address it, and just dismissed poker's role in the vlog.

Well,its not christmas just yet-but in todays vlog Rice truly got all his wishes come true.

1)First he was over the moon at the fact he got to do as little work as possible for the most pay. Mostly due to some deadspreads and his table going to dinnerbreak so Rice could just sit at the table during his down.Nothing makes him more happy than the warm feeling of beating the system. In this instance getting paid while not needing to work as usual.

2)Then we move on to the other thing that makes this buffoon the most happy and the biggest smug grins:free food or free stuff. He went to Lotus of siam with Herbs/Rye,and by all likelyhood got to eat on his tab. It gave me a good chuckle when Rice announced he had heard of this resturant,but never been there before. LMAO of course you havent been there before,because you dont want to pay.This is of course true for 99 out of 100 resturant spots he talks about♥d other people talk about it,but as an ultra tightwad Rice has never eaten there himself.

3)If that wasnt enough a player visiting the pokerrom from Chicago gifted Rice some brand new kitchen equipment,like a new portable ricecooker and a new deep pan with a steaming function.Rice is never buying stuff like this himself,just like clothes,sunglasses and so on.So this was a gift sent from heaven,probably his only new kitchen equipment in the past 10 years.

Best part of this vlog was one out of shape fat ass making fun of another out of shape fat ass.

Actually clicked on the previous hurling video because i had missed it. Hilariously Rice takes one whack at the ball, retrieves it and is out of breath so his second whack is into a roof so he doesn't have to exert himself to get it.
