and you think this will increase the chance of games going? you don't think they know they are weak in +100 and dont want to also play deep. it not like we are talking about them leaving and coming back w 30 bb. 100 bb isn't a standard buy in at anywhere else except betriver. even in live casino you can buy in a lot shorter. stop trying to tap the glass and max edge everything for yourself.

edit: I only start playing since August plo in my life and i probably played the most plo on here so far and have battle head up even though i massive -ev. I have never seem a reg quit because someone won big and come back w 100bb. it more likely to tilt them and cause them to play longer. the only time they will instant quit is if a recreational quit though. why dont' we make a rule that if you a reg you can't instant sit out when recreational bust. IT looks super bad.

Never was talking about recs. Encourage it for recs, but I think we all agree its not just recs hit and running. Plenty of nitty vpips doing it and coming right back. I agree with you when it comes to buyins being shorter. 30bb would be great. And instant sit is tilting AF. Overall site is great.

Anyone know how to playthrough the current re-deposit bonus?

I deposited, it shows the $100 bonus (which was never the case for my welcome bonus, so at least I've got that going for me 😃 ), but after two days of grinding cash games it says I still have $100.00 left to wager.

Reading through the rules, it seems I need to wager my entire cash roll first AND THEN the next $100 in wagers will count as the bonus money.

So does that mean I'm supposed to sit at a bunch of 2knl tables until my whole role is wagered, and then the next 100nl table I open will be a freeroll?

It also says wagers at "eligible" games, so no idea if poker is even eligible and I deposited money for nothing.

I don't know about any of this, I just know I've paid $1.8k in rake and I have 7k bonus points, which I guess amounts to like $100, so like 5.7% rakeback lol.

Interestingly, this is 1/4 of the 22.5% you initially estimated before accounting for point boosts and all that, so I guess this is the baseline for a dirty Delawarian.

It's early days yet, but I haven't noticed an uptick since achieving Platinum / Level 4, and apparently I was supposed to be getting a 2x boost from day 1 just be being Gold / Level 0?

Leaderboard seems very top heavy: great for the full-time pros and I guess people grinding the witching hour, but I don't think I'll ever see a payout at the nosebleeds of 100nl+ (lol). You can min-cash on other sites by playing <5k hands, which is enough to juice your already 30%+ rakeback by another 5-10% before other promotions.

So am I gonna top out at <10% rakeback (lol), or do I just need to get better at navigating the labyrinthine rewards system?

I guess any tips on other promos (bingo, free spins, tourney tix) are welcome. My current strategy is just click on any popup that I'm certain won't cost me real money and vie for an amount of money that isn't worth my time, but then I logged in Sunday and got a crack at a $300 score at bingo, which (outside of the welcome bonus) is the first BetRivers promo I've been a part of that I would remotely consider worthwhile money.

Not complaining by the way, software's great and players are terrible. I'm happy to make money actually beating poker at a chunky rate and not GAFing about rakeback, but I also don't wanna leave money on the table.

Yeah - I’ve seen that others have issues with lag / geolocation sometimes. I really haven’t experienced this though.

It’s a casino bonus. The tier / loyalty matches are in the casino side. Play blackjack or bet dealer on baccarat. $5 or $10 hands. 1x playthrough.

The gist is - you need to be at least black / level 6 to take advantage of the 2 monthly deposit matches that give you $500 each in bonus money.

Also, at lvl 5 - it’s better to buy the 1x casino bonus - $50 for 3500 points.

Bonus points do not decay. Bonus money generally expires after 30 days. So keep your rakeback in bonus store points. My friend saved all of his for several months until he decide to go for lvl9 and get the best conversion. Here is a link to their TOS and a snippet. Something is really off with this site. Never seen so many ppl with stats like 65/5 constantly show up with such strong hands, or they will have hands like a 1 card 9 high flush and fearlessly bet full pot on turn and river like they just know you don’t have it.

Wish we could see the winrates on these clairvoyant “whales” but with anonymous names we’ll never know.

Have been playing since it launched in PA and never seen players with stats like 75/5 not only last this long at midstakes but seemingly crush the pool playing this style. Makes absolutely no sense.

Those players are definitely not winning, but every now and then for every 5 of those players 1 of them will run hot and grow a 400bb+ stack, but the other 4 players like them will bust a stack and maybe reload a few times before losing more and calling it quits. I think it's mostly a case of survivorship bias.

Def. some insane runouts. 85% and 90% vpips on 500plo up 5-10 stacks.

Not saying anything is unfair but there’s def the same couple players playing this style especially at plo after you play a while you can just tell it’s the same ppl that are playing this high vpip style.

Playing MTTS I've had a lot of hands that a third party would have some basis to suspect someone was chipdumping to me. If I were the type to only really remember the bad runouts I'd be really paranoid. But when someone with seven left at a ft minraises from the cuttoff and you shove 20bbs with AKs from the button and they call off for 3/4 of their stack with T5o it does seem fishy even when you win. That sort of thing happens a lot.

The sattys are wild. People near the bubble out there committing straight ICM war crimes. I was 7/8 at the final table w/ 12BBs or so in a satty paying five seats and two small remainder places. I had to quit. I checked back to see if I somehow miracled my way to 7th and, no, I won a seat. I'm afraid to look at the hand history.

I think my brain is still calibrated to the old days when a combo of it being a pain in the butt to get money online plus eastern Euro grinders made the level of play a bit better than would be at the same stakes live and with this site that just isn't a thing so the small stakes / micro games are essentially play money. I usually am at the $5/$10 level but the times I've won a satellite into a $100 tournament I've been borderline disoriented by the general level of play.

another anecdotal opinion but I've easily played 10mm+ hands in my online career and have been top 10 on the leaderboard every week (aside from last for xmas) since signing up ~6 weeks ago

I have never seen giga-whales just get there non-stop so often. its just the perfect card for them in every 50bb+ pot since joining. slam dunk fist pump spots to shovel money in and I'm to the point where I just know they have one of the like 5 combos that get there every time. kinda spooky at this point.

and, like, I'm not really complaining that much tbh. the rewards are such that even when I lose I can't lose. its just something feels very off with a certain subset of players on here.

I only play no limit hold'em so I can't say the same thing for plo. The variance in plo is absolutely insane.

A friend that also regs betrivers linked me to this thread and I’m glad others feel the same way about the suspicious play of these whales on here.

Like others in this thread have already mentioned I have also been a pro for 10+ years and honestly never seen such odd play like this from the whales on rivers. They play 70+ vpips and end up with monster hands. It’s almost like the distribution of cards are skewed toward giving them stronger hands than the field because they don’t really bluff or show up with junk very often at all for ppl that play as loose as they do. They just literally end up being with the best hand more often than they should.

The regs I’ve talked to won’t quite go all the way to we are being cheated but for how soft the site seems everyone has extremely low win rates (.5-3bb)…the saving grace being the high rakeback program. But it has been extremely frustrating to play with this pool to say the least.

Also it seems like site security is lacking. The anonymous pool is protected by and kind of database analysis that could reveal outliers. The group of regs I talk to and myself have played over 2 million hands on BR since it launched and not once has there been refunds of any kind for any cheating or any investigations. Pretty unheard of. Even sites like bovada and global poker had security with investigations that led to refunds.

I would be extremely careful for those that continue to play on here.

Seem standard to me. it Phil G. old site. I would trust him w my kids. I had 34 buy in under -ev last year and never once did I suspect something is off. Just figure it goes w variance. Don' tthink there are any cheating since it US regulated. the incentive to cheat on here is tough. no team viewer possible etc.

I'm clipping along at ~10bb/100 over the last 4 months or so. Seems fine. No PLO though.

How do you guys track your winrate on BR, All in EV, etc.? Or do you just not?

Very nice! I personally have performed better at this site than PokerStars and BetMGM with around a 100k sample. I also think the anonymous aspect can be suited well for some players and not as well for others. I initially thought my winrate would be lower because a lot of my strat is heavily focused on stats, but surprisingly it seems to be better. The competition does feel softer, but I also am less paranoid about my lines getting exploited which I believe in turn makes me play better. I've also been running quite hot lately so there is that. I do feel the games are fair though, even though there are a lot more suckouts. I think that is just the nature of what happens when you have players minimum 3betting, cold calling 3bets, and limping with garbage though.

You can request the hands by clicking the gear icon in the poker lobby and then click on "playing history". At that point you can request the hand histories on the following pages where it will get sent to your email. You then have to download them to your computer. Once you have them on your computer you can load them into a tracker like PT4 or whatever tracker you like to use.
