Well,its not christmas just yet-but in todays vlog Rice truly got all his wishes come true.1)First he was over the moon at the fact he got to do as little work as possible for the most pay. Mostly due to some deadspreads and his table going to dinnerbreak so Rice could just sit at the table during his down.Nothing makes him more happy than the warm feeling of beating the system
His ultimate work day is him just sitting at the table not dealing any cards all day.
I wonder if he feels compelled at all to pay his share for these dinners with Herbs and Rye now that he is earning $40 per hour to sit around and do nothing. My guess is no, seeing as he never mentions the price of these meals like he would normally do with anything else he spends a cent on. Oh wait maybe he isn't allowed to divulge this information, because it wouldn't be fair to his Newsletter subscribers who pay for it LMAO
Rice also proves what a culinary simpleton he is. He prefers Pad Thai to the yellow curry, the chicken over the duck, and doesn't seem to think that bean sprouts are in sync with the dish (Pad Thai). Rice seems to not be a fan of duck in general, hes discussed it several times and once spent an afternoon in SF looking at what he believed to be raw ducks hanging upside down in a restaurant. He much prefers sausage meats and sardine slurry to duck meat which he seems suspicious of and likely feels is vastly over rated. What a beautiful mind!

I would say basically zero chance Rice payed himself. He is way way to cheap for him to pay for not one,but two main dishes at a solid joint like Lotus of siam. No way he would be splurging with two mains if he payed with his own money,but he is very happy maximizing when others is covering the tab. Such nasty behavior imo.
Also agreed on the duck. Likely too lean meat for Rice,as he is insanely addicted to ultra processed meat full of unhealthy fat,carbs and other trash. He seems to get almost high or something from stuffing himself with that kind of food-so he isnt even able to enjoy a duck dish. Massive fish when it comes to food,you see it at his buffet choices as well.
With his risk aversion, I think a decent poker pivot for him when he started breaking even at NL could've been to 8/16 Limit Holdem. He could still play 150 hrs of NL at MGM yearly to keep gold status and play 8/16 the rest of the year.
He doesn't know how to play LHE, and even if he did, he couldn't find a game in Vegas. Besides, LHE has more variance than NL.
Imagine how much money TBC would have if he didn't degen BJ or get scammed by "women" on the Internet.
Honestly you have to give TBC credit for making a living off gambling this long…for all his faults like autism, paranoia, and even not being able to drive it’s kinda crazy he’s been able to live a decent quality of life gambling like what’s the ceiling if he had a real career with all these traits… overnight stocking at Walmart within walking distance?

It's one thing to order expensive food when your friend is paying bc that's normally what you order. It's another thing entirely to order pocket bread and steal food in lounges smuggled out in cups when you pay but run up a tab on a friend. And of course the only meal this guy has gotten H&R was at a food court with comps.

He may been fortunate with being extremely lucky like others mentioned in terms of him going on a heater again everytime his roll got dangerously low. But still,huge accomplishment to keep it going for so long having the struggles that he does.

Lotus of Siam was at one time one of the best Thai restaurants in the US. Not sure if it still has the same rep, but it also offers much more traditional and even exotic dishes than what El D and H&R ordered. The pad thai there is exceptionally good - sprouts included. Only someone who has not experienced wilted sprouts pre-mixed into the dish during heating would complain about them being an add-on that you can choose to mix in or garnish at the table yourself. For all that he eats, El D is no culinary giant.

He probably behaves differently when it starts getting tight. He plays better, either taking fewer or more chances, and probably degens less. When bitcoin was well over 100k, like in the summer and he's feeling flush, he degens more. Bitcoin is around 90k now, so he's probably tightening up.

There was a couple threads in NVG about it, Basically Alan Keating said they used AI to change something he said and then a firestorm opened up and a couple days later WSOP posted that they took all the videos in the series down so they could fix it to their standards. lol

Yeah nothing wrong with loving a good Pad Thai. It's definitely the orange chicken of Thai food though. It's the one dish everyone has heard of. And it's the first dish that even non lovers of Thai food probably will try and enjoy. Nothing wrong with that either.

Oh yes,count me in.Casinonomad is pulling in subs at a steady pace,he is over 12K now. He will have 14K as is double of Rice in no time now. If he can get a video to really take off/go viral he can get a ton of subs pretty fast.

The thing that makes it 10x worse is that Rice is constantly boasting about how much he makes. He claimed even when he was making single digits playing 1/2 that he was making more money then he needed. He claims to be immune to inflation.
With all these big boasts and claims you would expect him to not be shy when it comes time to pick up the tab. But of course it's the exact opposite. He wants to boast about how well he's doing and still not even pay for his own share. That's what makes him such a despicable arrogant clown.
