He needs to learn to pileupthecoins. Thats done slowly. He has huge balls playing higher stakes with little coins but women dont care about big balls if hes depressed losing 1000 $1 coins.
He needs to take his 2000 $1 coins and put a max of 11 $1 coins in a single mtt. If he does this plays 4-8 tables (he got a new setup) studies poker maybe in 1 year he will be playing $33s.
I told him to play $33s and 100 PLO with his 9k roll and he would not be broke if he followed that advice. Instead he won $650 at casino then lost it plus more.

Op you got a better chance of getting your roll back up to 8k by putting 2k down on blackjack win then put 4k down win and ur back at 8k. Better chance of doing that than trying to do it playing $215 mtts 9 times.

playing too high for your roll. with $150 you should be playing 0.50. one day you will learn and go on to win the wsop main back to back 78x in a row. 90 girlfriends, millions in the bank and just a plain baller.
You don't have a gambing problem because $240 is peanuts. 9k is also as pea as a nut.

He has now realised he isn't a problem gambler. thats the first step in recovery to become the greatest online mtt player of all time.
He now needs to find some coins, load onto stars and just bink bink bink.
Needs to win a lot more than 8k. he needs to bink 300k. that should last him 2 years and in that time he will bink more.
ChanY stay away from pits bro. Its a big trap and hard to stop. Your good enough to bink 1k mtts. Don't waste your money and time on casino games when you could be playing high stakes mtts, binking and ending up on the cover of cardplayer magazine.
