Sb should of open jammed turn instead of check/shove. Would you have called a open shove from sb on turn?

Snap call. Check raising the flop shouldn't be a thing here on this board, when he does that I know he's FOS.

what would you of done if a 5 hit on the river giving him trips?

We got it all in on the turn. But if the turn was a five I play the hand the same.

Live on twitch playing 500 NL 6 max

I am undisciplined. I lack discipline. Need to work on that somehow. Self-flagellation maybe? My friend who trains martial arts used to hit his shins with sticks to make them harder and to make himself used to the pain. He trained knife fighting and stick fighting and went to Cebu Phillipines for real deal training and brought me back a shirt even. Cool guy. Anyways he entered a knife fight martial art tournament here in California a while back. It was fake knives with a little tazer/zapper at the end. And you scored points by zapping the other person or whatever. Well my friend won it and he showed me a video of him in the tourney and he looked so fluid and effortless. I asked what the little zapper felt like and he just looked at me and shrugged. Lol, what a baller.

I had a bit of a recharge yesterday, won ~3200 playing 500nl. You guys should have tuned in I had a stack of 500bb at one table it was crazy. My game oscillates between playing near perfect to playing just reckless and lost. I think recently I had been feeling lost when playing. Like really unsure of what to do at so many points or not caring what the right play was but choosing the dumb play. I don't know it's tough because I'm just out here running on vibes and feel. I've got no idea what opening ranges are supposed to look like at 6 max or anything. I'm literally just making it up, never looked at any charts, never studied solvers. I've watched some other players on youtube describe their thought process so I've probably picked up a lot of good habits but I'm mostly just flying by the seat of my pants so I can really get to a point where my game looks whack. That's when I need some kind of reset and I just have a high degree of confidence right now. I know what I'm doing. I believe in myself. I can do this. I'm the little engine that could. I think I can. I think I can.

Also I'm streaming now gonna be doing it more.

you've seriously never looked at solved preflop ranges before?

and you have the pedigree of taking college level math in middle school?

LOLLLLLLLLLLLL

Seriously. Most I've looked at is the push/fold charts for <15bb from Johnathan Little's website pokercoaching.

It was 11th grade math in the 8th grade, I was 3 years advanced. I'm not Doogie Howser. I went to my high school (Burbank High School) from 7am-8am then walked to my middle school (John Muir Middle School) 8th grade year.

I've ran my own sims. I've figured out what's right and wrong by trying it a thousand times myself. My brain is the sim....

But seriously I'd definitely benefit from some kind of help lol. I'm too stubborn and undisciplined I need to work on that.

Blackjack is where the real men play for profit in gambling. lots of the pros wont play blackjack because of the swings. at the end of the day theres serious profits even on ignition casino.

Tune in, turn on, drop out.

Do you still play on Ignition? I don't trust them. Bot farms and a few of my friends have had their funds stolen.

Good luck.

hire a coach and setup incentives where you pay them less per session if you have reached certain goals the previous week. inversely, you pay them more if you don't meet said goals.

If I was ever going to do anything with my life, now would be the time. I'm going to start playing more poker guys. And get the rest of my life in order, pronto.

I wish you the best of luck sir and OG

Now I know that I've left this blog dormant for a while now, whoops. Any interest still out there in me as a poker player? Seriously I appreciate and would be motivated by any reply. My thinking is that I want to start a poker vlog. I got the new s26 ultra 512gb so I can presumably use that to video my poker sessions. My idea is to document the different casinos in the LA area, then maybe explore other casinos in California/Vegas and maybe have some road trips to Texas and Florida and the rest of the country's casinos.

I'm turning 40 this year and I'm going to use this mid-life crisis energy to fuel my success. I'm going to play the main event this year and I'll sell a little bit of action if anyone is interested let me know. First dibs to anyone who bought action from me in 2021. I'm only going to sell 35% max and only 5% max to any one person. That way I won't have to worry about losing anyone else's money and it won't affect my play. I think that having more than $500 of anyone else's money on the line might negatively affect my play whereas if I limit it, I won't give a sh*t. 1%=$100. Let me know here.

Thanks bro. Let's meet up IRL sometime soon.

would def watch your vlog

maybe it'd be good to reach out to gazzyb here and see what his thoughts on it are, i think in order to really find an audience you'll need to more or less make it a full time job

glgl and i'll buy 1% the old investors are not available

Yassssssssss. LA needs a poker vlogger.

I'll watch it! I check this thread from time to time and find it enjoyable.
