In the spirit of the books and movies threads, here's one to talk about what you're listening to lately and what you hav
Yeah, I "produced" that song using AI. Maybe that is slightly controversial for this thread, but I think the song is great to listen to regardless.
I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of that song, but that's just personal preference and not because it's AI.
I know the cool thing is to hate AI, and I get, and to some extent agree with, the reasons, but it's so fascinating how well AI produces both music and images that we (most of us) find appealing.
I find the AI-aesthetic to be quite beautiful, even in its current early stages, and I can't deny stuff like this hits me just where it aims to:
Watched the first episode of the 50-Cent produced expose/doc on Sean Combs - The Reckoning. It's good. But I felt dirty after watching it.....Combs is such a creep. so to make me feel less dirty, I watched the first two episodes of the doc on Taylor Swift's Eras tour -The End Of An Eras. Tuma, numetal is by far my least favorite music genre and that song is in the top 5% of what I’ve heard.
Minus, both the songs and videos are AI? Wowzers.
I’ve always had a theory that In Through The Out Door was at least partially intended as an Elvis (“Is that true what they say about you boys on the road?”) tribute, based on Hot Dog & Southbound Saurez, and that was greatly amplified by the three leftovers on Coda.
By their own admission, all four members of the band were in various states of disarray—with Bonham ironically being the one who’s playing was least affected; oddly he has no writing credits—and manager Peter Grant also, when it was recorded, but it’s still hard to understand how Carouselambra (obviously a patchwork of demos) & the dirgey I’m Gonna Crawl (poor man’s Tea For One, would’ve been a fine B-side) made it on instead of Darlene and these two bangers.
