Yes, they will be the 5 seed if they win out and SF loses next week. The 5 seed holds a lot of value. I’m pretty sure they’d also hold the tiebreaker over Sea if Sea loses next week.

Two Rams' wins and a San Franciso loss next week (vs. Seatle) would result in the Rams moving up to the #5 seed. (maybe a Seatle loss too?)

The #5 seed will play either Carolina or Tampa Bay. The #6 seed will probably play Philadelphia.

The Rams also own the Atlanta' #1 pick in next year's draft. So, an Atlanta loss on MNF gets a better spot in the draft.

I’ll be rooting for Atl, since them winning out helps the Panthers.

Historically McVay has been inclined to rest starters the week prior to playoffs regardless of WC seeding.

I’m assuming you have this worked out, but I’m guessing the projected spread difference between the 5/6 seeds is around 2 TDs net.
