Left Home, Moved to Vegas! Pman Presents The Ride
Hello everyone!
My name is James Urbanic, better known as "PmanPrays" online (a combination of poker maniac and my love f
I haven't been playing higher stakes. I believe I am a winning MTT player. The "reg posters in the toxic thread" can say whatever they want, yourself included. I'm just saying, maybe we can both take a step back from the keyboard and remember we're talking to another human.
People believe in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus too.
The thing with believing youβre a βwinning MTT playerβ is that itβs totally an objective assertion because you can back it up with hard numbers and stats over a large sample size.
You have none of that.
The actual winning MTT players that have a losing year also have a huge sample size that proves OBJECTIVELY that they are profitable with winning years previously. Hopes and dreams and belief donβt make you a winner.
Eric Baldwin could have a losing year in MTTs and still be considered a winning player, no? Why is that compared to your belief youβre a winning MTT player?
Pman should vlog and take a trip to Chloride, Arizona it would help his ratings.
Hey mark good to see you hope you've been well. Not going to get a "real live 40hr a week job" but thanks.
Koshka, love your profile pic. Thanks for being a top notch fan. Have a great new years.
Topg, i'm not going to arizona!
Cool. Looking forward to many more Boo Hoo, My Year Sucked videos!
But why continue to play a format that you lose at without studying? Why not play a format that you win at? Or study?
To be quite frankly I can't go another year in the negatives. 2026 has to be profitable and may include more video editing and work from home jobs. We'll see how things pan out.
Do you have a plan?

I assume there's some sort of mental health reason why you are so adverse to working? You've basically said that you're flat broke and your dad cut you off, getting a full time job would be a great way to ensure that you have financial security. If you are uncomfortable being around other people, I mean don't you live in Vegas? You can load trucks at 2am or park cars or be a late night cook at a PTs or something. If you're unwilling to do anything like that, and honestly want to be a pro poker player like you said, you really need to start putting in 50-60 hour weeks because it sounds like you're starting from nearly 0.
Wow, Marknfw saved me a long post, read it, he is correct. A job gives you a routine and also health insurance which will come into play later.
I hate to break it to you but you are not a winning player, this coupled with your degen episodes in the pits make it worse. You need positive income you can count on. Unless of course you plan on soaking your parents for your rent, phone, food etc. Which is lame. I know you feigned "anxiety" at your last go at work which is a common rouse people in your generation use so they can sit home all day and loaf it but we all see through it.
I am not attacking you, just trying to give some advice, you don't seem like a bad dude, just lazy and entitled and willing to deflect so you can dodge reality.
You had a job dealing which could have landed you promotions, health ins etc if you worked hard. I think you should pursue that and you can still play poker. Which if you do you should work at your game which is the only way to get better.
Now you can call us trolls and use all the other BS other vloggers here have done while ending up still living on the margins and living day to day with no retirement or health care or you can take steps to be a functioning human so you have a bank account, retirement and health care without having to call Daddy to bail you out. Choice is yours.

I study MTTs and I'm a lifetime winner. I love them. My plan is to continue to play what I'm winning at (mtts and lowstakes cash) and take a break from what I'm losing at (mixed games / live low stakes).
Yes, I have many mental health problems. Mostly tourettes syndrome with a side of anxiety. I'm not flat broke and my dad was NEVER giving me money in the first place. I can't work a "regular" full time job. My problem is schedules. Insomnia acts up, i miss a day of work, i get anxious about it, miss another day, etc...it's a dirty cycle. I need work from home, and I'm looking into some stuff. Right now I am video editing and playing poker. Thank you man.

Are you winning outside of your second place finish in the employees WSOP event? That finish is 75% of your Hendon mob cashes and it happened two and a half years ago. You cashed 3 live tournaments last year for less than $5k. Your lifetime sharkscope has you losing $11k in online tournaments. What am I missing here? How can you possibly think these results indicate you have the skill set to make poker your primary source of income?

Winning in what? Yes I'm winning in live tournaments and online. My sharkscope goes back 11 years, and I was down like 17k to start last year on there. Poker is and will continue to be my primary source of income

So,your PRIMARY source of income netted you -$3000 in the year of 2025.
How many more months can you really sustain getting paid $0 from your main source of income? Like how big can Pdaddys account be?

I am just curious how you make a living when your primary source of income was losing you money in the whole year of 2025.
Your share of the bink money from the score 2,5 years ago has to be long gone.
So,how much longer can you go on pretending to be a pro pokerplayer that havent logged any serious volume and havent played regurarly in months?

Happy New Years
The questions got too difficult to answer properly,i understand.
If you seriously think you are a winning live tourneyplayer and are +EV in them,go out there and play 200 or more tournies in 2026. If its true that you can win consistently in live tournies,it should be easy for you to get staked living in Las Vegas with solid games selection.
Back up your words with action.

I will. In the meantime, can you lay off a little? I want to bring positivity into this world. My finances shouldn't be of your upmost importance.
