That thing of losing your last two games ala Schembechler (if it happens here), won't get much grace in Columbus even with a natty in the bag. I don't mean firing, but nasty heat. Day can make a run at the all-time win % at least modern, so resembling Tom Osborne if he gets a natty this year.

I guess this is how a decent NFL team would play against a good college team.

I'm not a Day basher, but even with him threatening the GOAT win %, I like Cristobol better. His halftime comment, "We just have to keep bringing it" is a classic perfect comment. He's the kind of general you die for.

tOSU will certainly get some big plays on offense, but that Miami D line can't be stopped every play, and all it takes is a big TFL to stop a drive.

At least Day figured out throwing to the backs after chipping can at least sustain drives. Other than throwing long it is the only +EV play he's got.

I don't know if Day has ever been behind two scores in the early going of a game. Just a couple of those Michigan losses that got out of hand in the 4th Quarter is all I see with him down 2 scores. Just wondering about the bully mentality and when the bullying isn't working as a piece of his coaching. Not much information on this.

Underwood wasn't ready this year but I see enough to still have hope. Arch Manning is obviously legit now and is everything we all thought he would be. Looks like Utah had a 14 point lead on Day's Buckeyes several times in the 2022 Rose Bowl and they rallied to win. Also Oregon got up on them by 14 and the Buckeyes rallied and kept it close. It matters.
