Fowler: Ballard remains a moving target because he drafts well and builds good rosters -- but no division titles in nine years is a tough sell. I've talked to a few people in the league who wonder whether Ballard would be the first to go over coach Shane Steichen if Irsay-Gordon makes changes at all. But the Colts had a good thing going for 10 games before the injuries, so that factors in, too. Most people I've talked to are leaning toward Ballard's job being safe.

Most impressive performance I've ever seen footballwise in person. I was at a Monday night game in Dallas where he ran for 200yds and beat the Cowboys in OT. It was increcdible watching him live.

It's a shitty position for the team to be in, because everybody already knows Woody Johnson is like the nut low owner, and if he fires Glenn after one season in which he had no QB and they traded away two of their better defensive players, literally no decent coaching candidate is even gonna interview with them, and they're gonna be scraping the bottom of the barrel.
That said, Glenn might be your bog-standard "good coordinator who can't coach", and they might be almost as bad off keeping him. But you almost have to give him one more year if you ever want to attract a real coach again anytime soon.

yeah i was thinking that it seems pretty hard to not get a couple picks by accident, and that seems to be the case. incredible stuff
so if the Jets don't get an INT vs. Mitch Trubisky this week, they will be the first team to go an entire season without an INT in over 80 years.

Hiring wilks, by itself, is proof you are in over your head and have no idea how to build a coaching staff. Wilks is unquestionably one of the worst DCs who ever lived
Managing to go an entire season without a pick despite supposedly being some kind of defensive wizard is by any metric indefensible. You shouldn’t be allowed a second chance if you clearly suck this much and staffing and culture

Bills new stadium cost about 2.1 billion and they are currently asking people to help shovel snow for a whopping $20/hr. Not sure if any of you have ever shoveled snow for an hour (let's be generous and say you spend 40 minutes of that time actually shoveling) but talk about being underpaid.
